Sweese 322.101 Porcelain Butter Crock Keeper - French Butter Dish with Lid - Butter Relief, White

This crock is durable and effective. I've had it for 2+ years and it still looks as good as it did when I got it. I always wash it in the dishwasher. It doesn't hold as much butter as I thought it would but it is plenty for what I need. The downside is loading it takes a couple minutes as opposed to putting a stick of butter on a butter dish. And if I don't pack it super tight a few times the chunk of butter has fallen into the water which has no negative effect on the butter itself but is just a bit annoying.Overall, I really do like the crock and think it keeps my butter fresher than the other butter dishes I've had (flat ones with a lid that hold a stick). Also, I love how pretty it is on the counter and because I keep it on the counter it is easy access which is convenient.

Received my butter dish yesterday and was well wrapped and no chips or breakage anywhere. I ordered the red and it is like a medium red, like santa's suit; not burgundy. True to color.I was able to put in one (1) U.S. stick of butter (which is equivalent to 1/2 cup or estimate of 113 grams) into the lid. Pretty cool where the butter goes. There is the lid, that has an upside down cup all attached as one whole piece. Just think of it somewhat like a teacup, glued to the saucer and you turn it upside down into the crock with a handle to pull it out. I am older and my grip over the years is somewhat failing me; however it is very easy to handle for me.Now this is the next day and the butter is still in the cup where it is suppose to be and although this is winter, the water seems cool.So far I highly recommend this product. Does not seem cheaply made, does have some weight to it.

Very sturdy; I'm surprised it isn't slippery when washing it. I DO use distilled water for the inside. Not sure if it makes a difference, but it makes me feel good. I have the navy blue, and it fits my decor perfectly. I've been using these "water-seal" butter crocks for YEARS (I'm 68, so maybe five decades) and this is the best one I've ever had. Highly recommend.

Very happy with purchase. Nice cleaning on the ceramic greenware; Makes for a quality finished product. Coloring is accurate and works very well. Water line indicator is very helpful. This is my second one as the first got chipped

We've been using our Sweese Crock for several weeks now, and we love the perfect consistency of our butter. Not too hard, not melting on a butter dish from being left out to soften. It holds 1 1/2 sticks of butter. If I could change anything, I would like it to be big enough to hold 2 sticks at a time - more convenient for filling/refilling. Think about it, Sweese...if you build it, we will buy!

I like to leave my butter out on the counter but hate that it was exposed, this lil butter crock is the answer ! Adorable

Love this butter crock . Add water and sit on the counter for soft butter . It stays fresh. And easy to clean .
