Does what I needed it for!
Cables of this length are chosen for very specific purposes. My purpose for needing this cable was to connect my Galaxy S9 to a Fiio E18K Alpen2 DAC/AMP which, in short, gives improved audio clarity. The cable allowed the audio files to flow from my phone to the DAC/AMP without issue. It also allowed charging of my Fiio through my phone, which I did not even know was a feature of these devices. In short, if you are wanting to connect a USB C to a Micro-USB for data transfer or charging purposes, I expect this cable to fit your needs. Build quality seems good. I am not rough on my electronics, and I have not used this product rigorously, so I cannot comment on its reliability at this time, but at the price, even if it fails in a year, it is sufficiently affordable to replace without shedding a tear. If you think this is the cable size for you, give it a shot.

Great for 2021 Yukon Tahoe Escalade
So I recently bought a 2021 Yukon with the Rear Entertainment system. There are 2 HDMI ports as for some reason GM did not want to integrate roku or fire tv into the system.... but to solve this problem and make it look as clean as I could without having to take the fire stick in and out I used these USB Cables along with Cable Matters right Angle HDMI adapter, This was to point the stick down so it does not stick out and get broken off or knocked down by kids getting in and out. I paired this with Fire TV Stick Lite and Cable Matters 2-Pack Right Angle HDMI Adapter. I have had great success since install and the kids really enjoy it.

Reliable as a DATA cable
One of the issues with a TB3 port is that you may not know the capabilities of the CABLE you plug into it. That's especially the case for charging cables, that may fail miserably when asked to carry data. I have a large number of USBc to MicroUSB that will charge my Garmin Edge 1030 bike computer, but fail miserably when I try to mount the bike computer on my MacBook Pro's desktop. This cable solves that instantly. However, I still need to be able to pick it out from the Medusa-like tangle of dongles that's accumulated in my drawer, my laptop bag's cable pocket, etc., etc.

Great short cable to attach my USB DAC to my latop.
I bought this cable to attach my Radsone EarStudio ES100 DAC to my laptop. The DAC came with a Type A to Micro cable, but I wanted to use the laptop's USB Type C port. So far, it is working fine, with no issues. It feels sturdy and, hopefully, that means it will last a long time. My only (small) complaint is that it is kind of rigid, but it's to be expected for a cable this short, at this price point. Recommended.

Fast charges my Samsung Note 4
I have this connected between my Samsung Note 4 (yes, it is an older phone) and a Satechi 75W USB C multiport power supply. Multiple devices are connected to the Satechi. The phone states it is "Fast Charging", and charges up a percent every few seconds like it does with the official Samsung charger.Seems fairly durable in the few days I have used the cable. I am very happy with the fact it supports Fast Charge between USB Micro and USB C PD.

Great value
I really like AmazonBasics cables in general, as they are well made and not overpriced. I have never had one fail me or break and I can’t say that about some other brands. The price generally makes Amazon Basics a reliable and economical choice. My go-to brand when I need a cable. This particular Amazon Basics cable has a bit of tendency hold onto it’s shape, rather than straighten out, compared to other Amazon Basics cables I have. Hasn’t been a problem, though.

Non-raveling cables
I thought I'd found the type of cable I preferred much better. Those were the cloth covered, more flexible type. I've found that no matter what they promise, these cables always start to become unraveled where they are bent the most. With these, I don't worry about that. These are great cables at a great price. I do although have to have them a little longer to make sure. I'll keep you updated.

Micro-USB connector is a little bit short
Purchased three of these for my various devices to connect to my new MacBook Pro. The USB C connector seems fine (it fits very will into my MBP), however the Micro-USB connector is a bit shorter than some other cables I have and as such it doesn't fit firmly into my WD Passport external drives. This is of course bad because it could lead to data corruption when the drive is in use. I'll be returning these and looking for a different brand. Also I recommend a bit longer length cables when connecting to an external hard drive; the length of these cables doesn't allow much movement of a laptop without potentially jiggling the Micro-USB connector loose...
