We have had this rug for over a year now so we have had some experience with it. This rug is very thick and rich looking, it withstands wear and tear nicely. The colors are pretty true to the photo, they are very rich colors, not a bright orange or red, but a burnt orange, the teal is soft. You do have to vacuum it often as it does shed a bit. I would buy this rug again if I needed to replace the one I have, it is that nice. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the shedding.

I love this rug. It is very heavy due to being real wool. Stays stiff under foot. The colors are true to the photos. It looks awesome in my living room. The first few vacuumings really picked up a lot of lint, but that's normal for wool and it has died down since.

We bought this rug 3 years ago to place over our hardwood floor and under our dining room table. It has held up beautifully. We no longer have young children, but there HAS been food dropped on to it, and it's our dog's favorite place to take treats to enjoy. There have been no permanent strains and, once vacuumed, looks about as good as new. If we needed another one, we would certainly look here first.

This is a beautiful rug. I constantly get compliments on its appearance and it works very well in a formal dinning areaBe aware that it sheds, like a shaggy dog and that you'll need to have your vacuum system up on the wheel if you bring this into your home.For me it's worth it and I plan to purchase another for an adjacent family room.

My $700 rug is falling apart in less than a year and a half. Basically $700 was stolen from me. Should have been a life long rug. The "CUT PILE" (it should have been constructed of continuous thread) ahead all over the place (which I CAN LIVE WITH) BUT THE RUG IS COMING APART.

Very nice, high quality area rug. Pattern is well defined; rug lays flat. As some reviewers mentioned, the grey is more of a sage green in most light. Haven’t had the shedding problem.

Good looking carpet - certainly not red more of a burgundy. Usual wool bits. Dog loves it too.

This is a lovely thick rug. The pattern is exactly as pictured. The colours are just spot on. There is also an anti slip tape all around the edge of the underside of the rug which keeps it from slipping too much. I'm 100% pleased with this rug.
