This is a great charger. In addition to being usable overseas, it allows me to charge my phone and plug something else into it so I can charge my PC and my phone at the same time. I highly recommend it.

This a durable, well-designed and easy-to-use device. I used it in France and had good results. Remember, it is a adapter, not a voltage converter. I bought this and another brand. This one thankfully worked & kept everything charged & working. The other one sparked & it didn’t work frim day 1. I’m so glad I was smart enough to order the universal plug or I would have had a problem finding one in a very remote, impoverished & poor country that doesn’t sell them. I highly recommend buying this particular universal plug. It was my only connection to the outside world, and I had no problems with it whatsoever. When researching international plugs I recalled years ago a friend telling me get a UNIVERSAL PLUG! No need to mess around manually inserting/switching plug sets or losing one. It’s an all in one plug adapter cube that slides whichever plug out for the country you are in very easily with a push of a button.

It is trying to be swiss knife of travel companion, but it failed to take bulk and weight into account. Even with the bulk it is not transformer, hence did not protect 115v equipment from higher voltages
