Like some other reviewers I had problems getting the USB C port to work. The USB C cable that came with my MacBook Pro worked at first but then stopped. I tried an iVANKY USB C 3.2 cable, which also didn't work. I contacted Viewsonic customer support. My representative was very responsive and helpful. After some troubleshooting they suggested that I order a cable from them (Viewsonic Item / SKU # CB-00012542). That cable worked. What's interesting is that the iVANKY cable is working now, but the Apple cable is not. Viewsonic customer support also said that plugging the monitor into a sensitive power strip or outlet could cause problems. I had the monitor plugged into an old power strip when the problems started. I moved it to a reliable outlet, but only that plus the Viewsonic cable restored functionality. I can only speculate that using the Viewsonic cable somehow reset the port recognition which now allows the iVANKY cable to work, but I don't have the expertise to support that. Note also that throughout the USB C issues the HDMI port on the monitor worked fine. My advice is to choose your power source and data cable carefully if you want USB C connectivity.

love that a macbook will charge through the usb-c that connects the display. my 2019 macbook air only has two built-in usb-c ports so it’s nice that both aren’t always in use between charging and monitor.

This monitor is perfect for WFH, it works on both PC/MAC. You should download the driver for PC, MAC works out of the box. I had to get a separate thunderbolt 3 cable, luckily we had them at work($40). Did not work at first, after driver installation and reboot, I had to plug in laptop first then the power to the monitor and boom it works. Sometimes I have to repeat process for MAC, but PC seems to work fine. Tested on Dell E7480 and MBP(2018) 15" and 13"

I am so glad I purchased this monitor. I use it with my MacBook pro. The included cable connects directly to my computer and it charges my computer so I don't have to have extra cords plugged in. The size is just right and I am very happy with my purchase.

I have tried using this monitor with several different Macbooks and several different USB-C/Thunderbolt cables. The monitor simply does not work. So, either my monitor has a dead USB-C port, or the compatibility simply is not there. Wasted of money, as I now have an oddly shaped paperweight. Would not recommend, would not purchase again.

This monitor is great. Fairly well-priced, with good visuals and easy set-up. I purchased this monitor because it has USBC capabilities. I own a MacBook, and the only port is for USBC. However, the most frustrating thing is that it does not come with a USBC cable that could be used to connect the monitor to a laptop. Instead, it just comes with an HDMI and no instructions. If I wanted an HDMI compatible monitor, I would've paid about $100 less and just purchased one. Once I figured out which cable works for connecting the monitor to my MacBook (it's a lightning USBC, btw), it worked great.

So far I am very pleased with this monitor. It is set up to work with an HP lap top with an extended desk top as a main screen with the lap top screen as secondary. Good and bright monitor. Very easy to set up. Used by me as an office monitor for emails, documents, internet etc. so cannot comment on how good it is for gaming.

Kullanışlı ve güzel. AMD bir ekran kartım varken freesync ile kullandım sorunsuzdu. Şu anda nvidia bir ekrankartı ile hdmi üzerinden kullanmaktayım gene sorunsuz bir deneyim sunuyor. Nvidia ekran kartı kullanırken freesync imkanınız yok displayport istiyor nvidia ekran kartlarında. USB-C portunu deneme fırsatım olmadı fakat farklı bir deneyim sunacağını sanmıyorum. Ses konusunda biraz ayar yapmam gerekti ama kullanabildim. Ses konusunda çok iyi değil ama tv box gibi aygıtlar ile tv gibi kullanmakta mümkün. Ses konusunda birde jak girişi var buradan ses çıktısı veriyor hoparlör bağlamak yada kulaklık kullanmak mümkün.

Il monitor non merita 1 stella , ma una stella se la merita il venditore , il monitor era un rientro , mancava cavo e base graffiata . Questi prodotti si vendono con un forte sconto . Grazie pessima esperienza

Sehr guter Monitor. Ist optisch wirklich schön. Leider war kein thunderbolt Kabel dabei kostet ca 30€ extra, lohnt sich aber für alle mac user ;) Bisher arbeite und spiele sogar gerne an dem Monitor
