It has information about Singapore that is helpful to know before going - like I will need Sing-dollars since I'm planning on eating a Hawker Centers and how they use Sing-lish in talking. It is divided up by neighborhoods so you can see what is there to check out, plus hotels and prices, making it easy to decide if you want to check into more or not. I like it so much I searched for Fodor In Focus books for other places I'm traveling to, but didn't find any. I hope they do more like this in the future. Review: I ordered this book as my daughter has just moved to Singapore and I am planning a visit next year. The book is easy to read, lots of useful info, good photos. It has been great to find info on the places she is visiting. The map of where the hotels are in each district is also really useful.

Exactly what I was looking for
I really like the size of this book - easy to take along when you travel, but more importantly it was what I had wanted in a travel book.
