I have ceiling speakers and wall speakers that have different impendances in 3 separate areas. This solved both the impedance issues and the switching and distribution problems nicely.The product details were accurate, however I was concerned about one of the pictures that shows speaker outputs -use 8 ohm speakers, and I included that because I think it needs to be changed. However the, documentation clearly states that 4 ohm to 8 ohm are acceptable (100 watts/channel continuous power handling capacity, 200 watts/channel peak. 5-ohm minimum amplifier impedance with four 4-ohm speakers selected, 6-ohm minimum with 8-ohm speakers). That is different from many other inexpensive speaker selectors with volume control.I really liked how the speaker wire is attached, the removable attachments that plug back in are easy to work with and make wiring simple.The Volume control is incremental but with numerous (more than 10) increments, and sounds smooth when changing volume.The product itself is heavy, construction on the outside was non-obtrusive and feels substantial.I am very pleased with the product, and highly recommend it

Have a patio/Deck area that that I needed three sets of speakers and a subwoofer wired into a new Sonos amp. With three sets of speakers, I was a bit hesitant to wire them up to the Amp. But with the impedance matching of this switch, it works great. I can cut on or off any set of speakers that I want, and I have the Sub on its own channel. I can also have one set of speakers playing louder than the others with the volume control. This thing really solved a lot of issues that I was trying to work through. Been working for about 4 months with no issues at all. Would definitely buy again and really wish that I had found it a bit sooner.

I hooked this up to the old Sony Amp I use for my outdoor speakers so I could control the volume on my outdoor speaker pairs separately, and turn off areas when they were not in use. It does that just fine. But I usually have the main volume knob on the Sony amp set to 2.5 and I had to crank it to 3.5 to achieve the same volume, with the volume knobs on the Monoprice selector at full volume. I don't know if that's the norm for everyone, or if my speaker selector was damaged in shipping - Amazon shipped it in a thin plastic bag. No padding. The monoprice "box" is essentially cardstock, and has only a couple of foam pads on the corners - it wasn't even taped shut, so when I pulled the box out of the shipping bag, the weight of whatever was on top of it in the truck had popped the box open on both ends. I would have returned it for a replacement if I thought Amazon would ship the replacement in a box. Why Amazon would ship a $100 piece of electronic equipment in a plastic bag is beyond me.The volume knobs and selector buttons are extremely basic, but I did like the removable cable input blocks. I use 14 gauge wire and had no issues with connecting.

Solid construction. I like it has weight to it.The back green bits come off to make it easier to insert the audio cables. It's a passive device so no power requiredVolume control per zone was something important I required and this deliveredWorth the buy if you're on the fence

It seems to work just as described. It was definitely worth the extra money to get the volume control and individual speakers. That way I could compare different speakers without being influenced by the fact that some of them would be louder.

A straight forward product that switches speaker pairs on and off, and controls volume of each pair.Quietly and effortlessly. Also comes in different configurations to control a few speaker pairs, or many. Has substantial heft and feels well made.

My amplifier feeds 3 separate speaker systems in the house. One was always too loud but now I can balance them out. Great product

Left side of channel 2 stopped working after a few days. I swapped the speakers going to this channel and the problem followed the channel, so I know it's this box that is not working. I didn't keep the original packaging (who has room to keep the original packaging for everything they buy), so I can't return it for a refund or replacement. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!
