Great for case mods
I recently bought an Xbox 360 slim an now I'm putting it in a pc case because I'm sick of looking at the dam stock black case. So I found another site that sells the same cables but the cables don't last as long. I bought this from amazon an it arrived early so I could finish my case mod! If your planing on putting your Xbox 360 slim in a pc case I highly recommend buying this cable. The other site is AirFlowCables, they claim the wires are high quality but the problem with the cable is they are cheaply made an are rated for a much higher voltage than what the DVD drive is rated for thus causing the DVD drive to burn out.Get this cable it's way better

These did the job with my 24" SATA cable
I needed a SATA extension cable that would work with the 24" SATA data extension cable that I already had. I read somewhere that having more than 36" would degrade the speed, but using and testing these with CrystaDisk Mark, the cables attached with a 24" SATA data cable to my PC had virtually no different speeds compared to the drives just attached with a regular 24" SATA cable. The reason why I deducted 1 star was because the tolerances for the SATA data port fitting I guess are a little off on the non-SSD/HDD side, and it doesn't snap onto the 24" SATA cable that well. The 24" SATA cable I used is one that has metal latches and yet, you can straight off pull the SATA data cable off without using the metal latches. Even with the SATA power fitting connected, it appears there's a gap between the power and data fitting so it doesn't improve the fit that well. Using a 90 degree SATA cable might help reduce the amount of pull tension, but overall I wouldn't use these to extend any cables that are under tension.

Fit and build great, expected from Startech
Using it in conjunction with a Sata to USB adapter for an external bd-drive. This is great for attaching to the adapter and I zip tied them all together for a redneck external bd-drive sans case. Have you seen the price of external 3.5" cases!? For $30 I built my own using the Cinolink adapter. Works fine for occasional use as needed. It won't put my wash in the dryer.

Works as advertised
I needed this connector to extend the PC power supply cable. It is good quality and works as expected.

great solution to the broken sata connector we have all
I had a WD 1tb drive with a broken SATA connection (plastic that holds contacts together was broken on the drive) this fixed the problem and not only did I recover my data, which was all I felt I could hope for, I am three month's later still using the drive.....great solution to the broken sata connector we have all, or will all, suffer from. If you haven't, you will, these connections are clearly "planned obsolescence" at it's finest.

Does what it needs to
I didn't check wire gauge, but it looks comparable. Using it to extend length to a fan and nothing power-hungry. Does the job well
