Cheap fix
This part saved me from buying a new vacuum. It was giving error 1 code but the laser was still spinning. This did the job!

Arrived with a damaged orange wheel.
Delivery was fast. Item arrived damaged. A little orange wheel is broken.

I wasn't sure, and either was the manufacture that this was the cause of the fault but rather than spend a small fortune on the complete laser part, which is what they suggested, I went with this motor first and it solved the problem. From what I can tell, seems to be pretty common as well.

The product arrived quickly and allowed me to successfully fix my Roborock s5 with an LDS error. Far cheaper than replacing the entire LDS. Note that my motor arrived with the orange wheel piece in the wrong position, however by pulling it was possible to slide it to the correct position as pictured.
