Best costume makeup ever
Would definitely buy this brand of costume makeup again. It goes on easily and best of all does not crack or flakes off during wear. Stayed on perfect during Halloween event I attended.

Competitive cosplayer, I always trust Paradise
Tl; Dr: From a competitive cosplayer who has used almost every brand under the sun, I only trust Paradise now and will use it either until the day I die or Paradise is no longer produced, whichever comes first. Used this for a big stage performance and it stood up to me ugly crying when our friend's memorial was played and we were announced as one of the winners of the competition we were in (see the selfie photo of myself and my friend, look under my eyes. That was all the damage the makeup took from sobbing and dabbing at my eyes with cheap paper towels!!) Read on for more in depth review + my personal application instructions that work extremely well with Paradise. I've been using this brand for years. It goes on typically in just two layers with a few spot touch ups here and there. And yes, this includes the white and black, two colors that are notorious for being difficult to apply as far as cake makeup is concerned. It is matte in finish and wears very comfortably with just the odd itch every now and then (if you are very itchy, you are either allergic or have put on too thick of a layer). From someone who has had to regularly turn 80% of their body blue as quickly as possible, this is the way I found best to apply and seal Paradise: 1) Using a manufactured sponge (the ones with the smooth-ish finish), dampen it to the point of almost being considered dripping wet. You don't want it to drip water, but you want some water to be squeezed out. Work this into the makeup for a few seconds. Before applying, make sure you have put on a few layers of anti-persperant in sweat prone areas. 2) Using the same sponge, brush the color onto your skin. This will leave a streaked finish, but that will be fixed in a moment. Cover everything you're going to cover and use a hair dryer to dry faster and not be freezing cold. 3) Using a Natural sponge now, dampen it and work it into the color. You don't want the sponge to be so wet that it has water coming out of it when it's rung, but you want it moist enough to pick up color. Once you have worked enough color onto it, dab over all the streaks. Your color will now even out :) 4) Touch up anywhere it is needed with the natural sponge and use eye shadows to contour and highlight. Personally I prefer using strong hold hair spray to seal my makeup followed up with a transparent setting powder to get rid of the tackiness. It works much better than setting spray imo. Doesn't matter what you use as long as it's decent and you seal your makeup with it. This method allows me to paint 80% of myself whatever color I want in only 2 hours. It seems to only really work well with Paradise. Other brands don't really like this method and take forever to apply as they feel more like a clay than a compressed powder like Paradise does. Paradise also stays on much better than other brands. If your skin is not sensitive, you can use alcohol in place of water to increase the dry time and lower the risk of the makeup being rubbed off. PLEASE only use water on your face.

Best facepaint
This stuff is amazing!! It’s a little challenging getting it even, but once you do, it doesn’t budge until you want it to! I used the light blue in myself as Sally, and I used the white and black on my son as Jack Skellington. I was only able to get the refill in light blue, and that tiny one was enough to do my face, neck, and chest once. I got the combo white/gray/black for my son and I was able to do his face and neck for 3 different events with plenty left over. My only complaint is liquid latex does not want to stick to it. It eventually does but it was quite difficult. Pro tip: use a hair dryer and it’ll dry quicker and stay better.

Don't trust any other brand
A very teeny tiny little bit goes a long way! I use a slightly moistened makeup brush to apply and sets fairly quickly. I also purchased them setting powder and setting spray and I swear the stuff did not budge or transfer all night yet was super easy to remove. Trust me I was worried as we used a deep red. Highly recommend extremely professional grade products worth every penny.

Pigmented and easy-to-use!
I use the black and the white for different things so I’ve separated the reviews below: BLACK: I started using this as eyeliner and I will never go back. I’m a drag artist and I do a lot of graphic liner looks, so I needed something that was highly pigmented, easy-to-use, and would last all night through multiple performances. This checked all of those boxes and exceeded all expectations. I could not be more thrilled. It takes a couple tries to figure out how much water to add to get the consistency you need (I just added drops with whatever brush I’m using) but once you get there it it so easy to use. I can draw fine lines and fill in larger spaces with perfect opacity and without having to layer the product. I have the hooded eye curse, so I typically draw my liner above my crease and fill in the lid (as in all three photos). I have to set the liner with black shadow when I’m finished so it won’t crease, but I’ve had to do that with every liner I’ve ever used, so that’s not a fault of this product. WHITE: I also use this brand for my white liner and love it. It’s hard to find a white liner with enough opacity and this one does wonderfully. I also love that you don’t need to load up the brush to achieved the opacity you want. So many white liners are thick and gloopy and hard to work with, but this one is delightfully light and easy to use. However, it will definitely pick up the pigmented of whatever you apply it over, so be prepared to either layer the white or remove the pigmented shadow first. I’m lazy and usually just layer. It’s also difficult to blend out the edges if that’s the look you’re going for. I typically have to use a white powder and much repeated blended with my fingers to get any kind of diffused edge (see the Tiger makeup undereye). Honestly I usually don’t have time or am too lazy to do that so I either avoid diffusing the edges or settle for weirdly diffused edges (it’s stage makeup so no one really notices). All that being said. I still love using the white because of the opacity, the texture, and because it’s not as expensive as other white liners that are gloopy and transparent.

Seemed fine for coverage - skin didn't love it
The product worked just fine for coverage. Took me about 3 coats to get the coverage I wanted. Unfortunately, it made my skin pretty red and irritated. I don't generally have super sensitive skin but this definitely bothered it. Just be aware of that.

Excellent product
Used this make-up for a Halloween costume. Very impressed with this make-up product. The orange color was perfect, was very easy to apply and stayed on all night and didn't run off on clothes!

Smaller than I was expecting. Swatches worked well. Colour is same in picture. Appeared to stain skin at first but eventually came out with soap hot water and scrubbing

Easy to apply, rarely had to use a second coat in areas. Easy to fix mistakes. Definitely recommend this product and brand!
