These were great for our party themed cake.They are sort of like little ornaments (they have a nib on the bottom) but without the "hook attachment." I found this to be super handy because I put a toothpick in the bottom to attach to the cake. I suppose you could just push the nib into the icing, but I know with my cake that didn't work so well and I had disco balls bouncing around on the counter and floor as they fell off.This brings me to the point that they are shatterproof, but still really shiny. They are true to the picture.If you have a need for something like this, I'd recommend them.

These are super cute and great quality. They came with the string attached but I took it off because I wanted to use them to decorate a cake. I saved them to hang somewhere else later. They are super sparkly, just as described.

These look nothing like the picture. They are very small. The photo makes them look large on the cake. They are also cheap plastic that you have to glue together. Would not recommend. No idea where these high ratings came from because they are cheap and terrible! Do not recommend!

I’ve never decorated a cake in my life and these were easy to pop in and design how you want it. The cake was a huge hit! After the cake was eaten the disco balls were taken over by the kids as a keep sake (:

These are not really suitable as cake decorations, they are tree ornaments. They looked good but they had gaps where you could see the styrofoam underneath and sharp edges. They do work like a real disco ball when hit by the light

My 17yo wanted a Mama Mia/ Abba theme so we got disco balls as part of the decor. The disco balls cake toppers worked perfectly! Afterwards, I was even able to wash the cake off the toppers without destroying them at all. I dried and stored them.
