Official Seal Embosser - Custom Notary Embosser, Book & Library Stamp, 1 5/8

Very well made, came in a nice box and with a paper included showing that it was tested to match the order before being sent out. It is a metal plate with heavy plastic parts (it feels solid, not at all dinky) and makes very crisp, clear seals in book pages. I bought it as a Christmas present for my PhD wife (both of us love books though) so she could mark all of her books in our library. She absolutely loved it. This is not a common gift, I think, and I was glad I both had the idea and got it from here. I did communicate with the seller before buying, to verify what the seal would look like, and they were very helpful. They did put together a mockup seal and send it to me first to verify. What I got was exactly the same. Definitely great service! If I could give 6 stars, I would.

I thought I had found the best option. Unfortunately, this embosser is pretty much invisible, no matter how hard you press. And my 3 initials in the center are not visible at all. Not even a little. So I went to return today, just to find you cannot return this item!? I never would have ordered this had I realized they will not allow you to return it if it doesn't work. Who doesn't guarantee their own product?!I have reached out to Amazon to rectify this situation, as I have had to purchase another on short notice now for what I needed. I will update stars if there is a positive resolution.

4 stars instead of 5 because I don't think I should have had to put it together. You have to pull the embosser part out of the handle, do this and that, shove it in really hard - and then I guess they expect you to take it out again because there's a thing that locks or unlocks (but doesn't move after the embosser is put together).I noticed that some reviewers say it doesn't work. One with a video was trying to use it on a thick piece of paper (looked rather like thin cardboard to me). Embossers don't work well on thick paper, plus you have to squeeze really hard even on regular paper. I embossed several seals after I received mine today and it worked great.

This embosser is just great. The engraving came out crystal clear just like I wanted it. Very good quality. I must also say that the company prepared it and shipped it out right away. I actually did not expect it so soon. They did a phenomenal job.
