New Balance Kids' 455 V2 Hook & Loop Running Shoe

My 1 yo is usually whatever as far as wearing shoes. She will take them off and throw them, take them off and chew on them, etc. But always take them off after we put them on. Before this pair we used under armor tennis shoes and as soon as I would latch the velcro she would bend down and rip it back off. With these shoes (the new balance) she keeps them on. There's no issues with her pulling on the velcro and trying to take them off. She loves these shoes. She will go get them and bring them to put them on. They are also super cute. Great shoes for trying to start regular shoe wearing for walking.

My girl wears a 6 1/2 extra wide almost 7 extra wide in Stride Rite and the 7.5 wide worked for her perfect. There is a small amount of toe room for growth but not too much but I almost think if I would have went with a 8 wide they might have been a little too big and uncomfortable to walk in so, ultimately I'm happy with the size I went with she said they were comfortable right away and they were easy to put on.Update to add we now are in a size 8 wide and very happy with these shoes will be continue to buy more as she grows.

This Shoe is an awesome fit! Our precious Michael has Myotonic Dystrophy and has to wear splints on his legs/feet and the shoes have to be wider to compensate for them! Of Course as he gets bigger, so do the splints.These New Balance shoes in X-wide compensate for the splints! It makes a perfect fit! Only wish there were more colors in the X-wide! Ended up getting 2 pair in Grey!Thank you New Balance for your X-Wide widths and to Amazon for carryng them!

I got these for my son when he first started walking. They’re really light and easy to put on. Fit wise they’re perfect. If you want to go a bit bigger they’re not overwhelmingly big which is great. Width wise they’re not too narrow. It does not feel like I’m squeezing his feet into his shoes. They also come in a Wide. Overall, these shoes are great. Not too expensive and it’s worth the price and quality. We’re all ready on a second pair!

I really like the shoes. The only negative thing I would say would is that my son has wide feet and the strap wouldn’t fully Velcro at first but by the 3rd time he wore them they stretched out to fit perfectly.

We made the mistake with our first child and bought cheap shoes, and now we pay the price. So, child number two, we spend the money to get quality shoes. New Balance has the support that the children need for their arches. They come in half sizes so the fit is perfect and never too big. We buy new ones every two months just to keep them durable and lasting longer.

i love them for my fast growing toddler . They are so cute and perfect for everyday activity at daycare and park play. She’s a smaller size but she has a wide foot and this fits her great . I bought a size up for wriggle room and it’s still a great fit. Other shoes I buy a little bigger always fall off. The Velcro helps a lot . I am going to keep buying these. Great product for the price also.

My son has wide feet so other shoes don't seem to fit him. He also has thick feet so we did have to remove the padding for it to fit better. A perfect show would be one that can accommodate both wide and thick feet, but this works well for our needs.
