Ghosts of the NHS: And Other Spirits I Have Known

Interesting tales of NHS hauntings.
I liked the book from start to finish. I especially enjoyed how the author described her early years and how she became to realise she had a gift.

Couldn’t put it down
I finally got round to reading this, and glad I did , so interesting , as I read at night I was slightly scared to read it thinking it would creep me out before bed, but no, just very , very comforting.Amazing woman to be able to nurse sick people , and have an amazing gift to see afterlife , also comforting patients she cared for at crucial times in their life/death.

Worth a read
I have given this 4 stars, as I didn't want to possibly stop people from reading this book, as it is indeed interesting. However, for me, I found it neither one thing or the other! It was a very speedy race through Glynis' life, without too much detail, neither did it give any in-depth detail about the spirits. I am fascinated by the subject, and I do believe Glynis is very good at what she does, I would have just liked this book to be more "meaty" in one or either of the subjects! Perhaps there will be a more in-depth book to follow!

Beautiful
I bought this book together with ‘The Angels Beside Us’ and found both such compelling reading I did not wish them to end. Glynis is a natural Medium her warmth and compassion towards those she cared for in her long career as a Nurse shines through. Her encounters with the Spirit world, the help given to so many people throughout her life, her serious health problems these words can never do justice to a remarkable woman and her story. Both books are a joy to read and reconfirm my belief that we are never alone. Thank you, Glynis, you are truly amazing. Joan

Great read
What a great read from a great lady. Some heartfelt stories and also happy stories. I love anything like this having experienced spirits myself in the past, so to read someone else's experiences was eye opening. Cannot wait to receive her furry spirits book next, I wait in anticipation. Thank you to Glynis for this wonderful book.

Good read
I enjoyed this book. The author has a great way of describing things that have happened without being over sentimental or too mystical. I felt the descriptions of her time as a nurse and trying to manage the spiritual side of things was fascinating. She comes across as very matter of fact although ‘the gift’ does seem to pose challenges at times. Recommended read.I’d love a reading from her!

Couldn't put it down
This was so easy to read, I didn't put it down and read it in one go. I have already read book by other mediums such as Betty Shine and Doris Stokes over the years so it wasn't a case of needing any sort of proof, I don't really think it's aimed at a non-believer to try win them over. It's just an honest account of a lady who had a successful career in nursing and who also has the gift of being able to interact with spirit talking about her experiences. I loved this book.
