Yes, the MURO 128 Solution are eye drops. They also have a MURO 128 Ointment. I use both for edema of the cornea. I might note that both are relatively expensive. Although they are both non-prescription products I would not recommend using if not directed to do so by your eye Dr.

What is the expiration date on this particular batch?

Lynn. The expiration date is on the bottom of the box. The box I have says 06/22. Great price from Amazon. I usually pay $29.00 at Walgreens

Would this be good for wearing with soft contacts?

This is a "salt water" solution! It burns like hell for 10-15 seconds, but someone named "Razorblade" may love it. Have you searched B&L website & web in general to see how others use this. My eye doctor prescribed this to treat my hereditary eye issue.

Is this preservative free?

There are no indications on the bottle that it is preservative free. It only says: Sterile, for use in the eyes only. Although it was prescribed (advised) by my Eye Dr., it is actually an OITC product. If you want a Preservative Free eye drop, please ask your eye Dr. for such (if there is one). Good luck and take care of your eyes.
