I’ve been struggling getting my dog to not bark at people on the sidewalk and he has barely made a peep since I started using this. He no longer barks at anyone in passing and I’ve only had it for a couple weeks. It’s high quality too. It’s a little pricey, but very worth it.

I purchased this collar for a 7 month old Goldendoodle who loves people but doesn't listen so well. I specifically wanted a manual remote so I could control when he would be sprayed. I had several different behaviors I wanted to work on. For me, this collar has been AMAZING. If one of my kids had a friend come to our house my dog would bark at them to come pet him. Then he would jump and lick them instead of calmly sitting while they petted him. I have only used the sound and sound/vibrate buttons, he hasn't needed spraying at all. The first time I pressed the sound button, he backed off and looked around for a minute, then he went back to the friend and sat down but was mouthing and licking so I used the sound vibrate button and he backed off again and then went away. I didn't want him to be afraid of people so I had the child call him over and give him a treat when he sat. I could tell he still wanted to jump but was using self control. The next friend that came, my dog stopped barking immediately when I told him to be quiet and gave the sound button. When the friend approached, he didn't jump but was still excited. He would forget his manners and start to mouth but a "be nice" command would have him remember his manners and he would get treats for doing the right thing. When the 3rd friend came another day, I didn't even have to press the sound button, it was like he knew what he was supposed to do. We keep the collar on him but hardly ever have to use it. But if he doesn't have his collar on, he seems to "forget" more. I think another couple of months and he will not have to even have the collar. I also used it for when he would get too rough with my kids playing in the backyard. He would remember his manners and that would end it.I know a lot of people buy the automatic collar for barking but I want my dog to bark to alert me but I want him to stop when I tell him quiet. Having this manual collar has allowed him to learn that. When we would go to puppy training class, he would bark the majority of the time and now he will bark until I tell him "quiet" and then he stops. He does occasionally has to be redirected with the beep but this collar is amazing. I would highly recommend it.

Don’t waste your money this dog collar! I purchased one of these a year or so ago, and found that it would not hold a charge for the whole day, so it was very hard to create a habit of training for my dog. Then, after about six months, it stopped working altogether.We got a new dog recently, and I decided to try these collars again. This time, I bought two of them, so that I could have one charging all the time and be able to swap them out on my dog. This was very expensive, it also meant that I was at least able to consistently have the color on my dog, and therefore consistently train him.This system worked great, except that now, not even two months into these collars, one of them has stopped working. It looks like it charges, and shows a greenlight, but when I unplug it and try to use it, the light is red as if it were never charged.I tried to use the return system, but all it did was lead me to a bunch of troubleshooting tips on how to set up the collar initially, etc.I can’t figure out how to get a hold of this manufacturer and see if they will replace the one that is broken. I am so frustrated. With this product, for really not working and not lasting even two months. And also with myself, for giving this company another try

After a visit by the police for barking complaints about one of my two dogs, I was desperate to find a way to keep him quiet. This collar is humane and has really cut back on the barking. I stay outside with him to monitor however. When he runs around the side of the house out of my line of site the remote no longer works. My husband has used the remote successfully a few times just looking at the dog through the window. I prefer to be outside with the dogs where I can more closely monitor his behavior.The one draw back is that the battery monitor on the command module doesn't seem to work very well. It will show three bars and then stop dead. There is also no way to tell how much citronella spray is left in the actual collar. On the plus side, the collar itself is easy to turn on and off and I have found that is a good way to the lengthen battery life on the collar. Easy to charge and easy to refill.

Got this product when our Beagle puppy was acting out; mostly because my pre-teen daughter wasn't spending time with him (as he would jump up at her, tear her tights, bite at her ankles and hump her legs).It said to wait till he knew basic commands - so we waited till he was good with "Sit" and "Stay" (at least - seemed to have a basic understanding). Within a day or two - this collar got rid of all his bad behaviour. We only needed to use the lemon option a few times; after that, the sound and vibration is more than enough to make him back down and calm down. Finally we can eat in the living room again - he gets one sound hit when we start eating if he starts begging or tries to get to the food - then he'll grab a toy and lay on the couch.Outside he was starting to show destructive behaviour (ripping up grass, digging, jumping up into flower beds) - but I brought this outside and stayed with him - every time he did something bad, he was corrected - and learned.The last week we've hardly even had to use the collar (he still wears it - but we seldom have to correct him); it's a brand new dog.Negatives; it's a little tricky to put on; but we haven't had any issues with it not staying on. If you're looking to just put it on interchangeably (e.g. when walking the dog) - it's a bit of a hassle. Wish there was just a clip-in option. Also - it's big; particularly for a Beagle puppy - but at 5 months - he's ok with it.Other than that - great product - now there's no yelling, and my daughter is happy to spend time with him whenever.

We bought this collar as our rescue dog had poor recall and has a very high scent drive. When he was engrossed in a smell he just didn’t react to us calling or a whistle. From the first time we used the collar his recall improved. He seemed to connect us calling with the noise that the collar makes. We have seldom needed to use the citronella spray and even from the beginning only used the noise on the collar a couple of times a week but it has been invaluable as an aid to training. Even now 2 months later I will seldom use the remote but he wears the Coll and if I call him several times and he doesn’t respond I will press the noise button and he comes running. We have also not had to recharge it since we first got it and he has worn it switched on every day

Me está funcionando de maravilla. Utilizo el botón de pitido y en contadas ocasiones el de gas. Me parece súper efectivo para corregir ciertos comportamientos del perro. En mi caso lo compré porque mi perra a veces al ir suelta salía corriendo a ladrar a algún perro aleatoriamente. Desde que lleva el collar sólo lo ha hecho dos veces, le pulsé el botón a la vez que la llamaba y se dió la vuelta al instante. No lo he tenido que volver a usar. Es como si ella lo hubiera entendido a la perfección.También me da mucha seguridad porque con el collar la llamada es muy efectiva. Eso sí, el perro de conocer la orden de "ven" o similar para después poder asociarla con el uso del collar.Como única pega decir que el botón del pitido es demasiado sensible y en ocasiones al llevar el mando en el bolsillo, si meto la mano a veces se pulsa sin querer y deja al perro súper descolocado. Hay que llevar cuidado de no pulsar sin querer.
