Replacement Impeller for SUNSUN Aquarium Canister Filter (HW302/HW402B)

My canister filter was making a noise every now and then you would hear the motor come on and it sounded bad and was loud. The filter continued to work, but that sound was bad and it would eventually ruin the canister filter itself. Also, when you go to put the new one in or go to clean out the water in the filter canister. Put some Vaseline on the o- ring to get a seal. The canister filter doesn't always seal right and can be aggravating. Vaseline will create the perfect seal. If it doesn't seal properly, you didn't add enough Vaseline

I was cleaning my sunsun canister filter out. I had trouble pulling out the impeller due to the strong magnet and then the ceramic spindle broke. I was in a panic, thinking I’d have to buy a whole new canister filter. But I’m so glad to find this exact match to perfect fit! It saved me money! And easily just popped in. I didn’t notice any reduction in flow at all.

After a recent clean and replacing of some filter media, existing impeller had gotten annoyingly noisy. What a difference this new impeller made. Pump is now quieter than it's ever been.

Works just fine. Canister runs silent but outflow power leaves much to be desired.

Not working Returned

Item works but arrived damaged. I have the original in photo to compare the stick that is damaged. I ended up using the stick from the original part. This one ended up being thinner lighter plastic than the original. I didn’t ask for a replacement nor a return since I used it but when I buy something I expect the whole item to not arrive damaged.

Perfect fit for the sunsun 302 canister filter

Not much to say........absolutely identical replacement for original part. Restored filter to proper working order. Completely satisfied.
