These are a great headlamp. I have purchased purchased 7 of these. I keep one in my car, 2 in different backpacks, tool boxes, work bench and every other place a light would be needed. In the 7 that I purchased there was a problem with one. The red LED did not work. I had a replacement in my home from Foxelli within 4 business days. I have the black and the white models. I find that the white ones are easier to see in my backpack and on the ground. IMOFoxelli MX20 has all of the light function I need and use the safety whistle on the headband is a helpful option. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear over an extended period of time. The low battery indicator is is an outstanding feature, In the past the only way I knew a battery is going low is when the light stopped working.Having the adjustable light output settings helps increasing battery life. In the past with other lights I would use 100% output all the time. With this light I use the lower settings because I realized I did not need the higher light settings It is lightweight and comfortable to wear. The red LED is very useful for night use when camping or when you do not want to bother other people when you are reading late at night. It is very simple to change the lighting modes. You push the on/off button to cycle through the 4 white light settings 165, 80, 40LM and white flashing 165LM mode. To turn on the red LED you push and hold the on off button for 4 seconds you do the same to turn off the red LED.I had one problem with a lamp. I sent an email and within a few hours I received an email asking if I wanted a refund or where I would like my new replacement lamp shipped. I had a new one within 7 business days from the day I sent the email explaining the problem. Outstanding customer service!!!! The prices on these fluctuate. The first one I purchased was close to $25.00. Later I was able to get them for less than $10.00. At any price point they are worth it. I have a few other brands that cost a lot more money, I feel the quality of the Foxelli is as good as or better than these other lamps. .

If you are looking for the best headlamp on the market, this isn't that. I got this product for $8 and it is very very good for even the none discounted price. I live in a cold dark climate and often i need to have a lot of light to shovel / plow snow or night time fishing or hiking or camping. This provides plenty of light and is more than bright enough for 90% of users needs. I usually use the headlamp on its lowest setting if im just navigating in the dark and it's plenty bright.The lamp is controled by 1 button but it's programed very intuitively so it takes seconds to learn how to use fully. Push to turn on and cycle and hold to switch between red light color or white light. The headlamp with turn off on the next push if you don't mess with the button to long but i like that. And the headlamp will stay in the last used light mode like red light mode or white light mode if you turn it off, but will reset to the default version of both red light and white light.The product is very comfortable and fairly light weight.The clip that holds the batteries in feels questionably strong and i do have some concern that it could break someday. Overall it feels like a sturdy product but i wouldn't recommend dropping it to hard.I use rechargeable AAA batteries in this product since I use it so much making a good product even better (use rechargeable amazon batteries if you are going to use this a lot to save money and get the benefits of batteries and recharability)

I've only had the headlamp for a few days, but had a chance to use it enough for a quick review. I occasionally have to do work above ceilings and wanted something hands free, leading to this purchase.I think the lamp itself does pretty well, and the white light can get plenty bright for working in the dark. It can switch between a low/medium/high and strobe intensities. The Low setting was enough for me to work by, but I also only needed to work with my hands an a few feet in any direction. I went through the settings a bit and was confident I'd be able to see anything needed.I do wish the red light was a bit stronger, as it doesn't seem to have the same intensity options as the white light does. It only has a single intensity setting, a S.O.S. strobe, and a regular strobe mode. I wasn't really able to use the red light to work by very well, but still some light is better than none, and there will be situations where I'd prefer to have the low red light to see by rather than full white light.The band was comfortable enough for the 30 mins or so I was using it, and getting used to the different click/hold options was pretty simple while I was messing with it. Batteries are easy to pop in and out when needed, and seems secure enough that the compartment won't randomly open while I'm fiddling with it in the dark. Make sure to press it back all the way when closing though; there was an initial click and then a second click before it actually stayed shut on mine.I'd say it's closer to 4.5 stars in my book, but I want to see how well the batteries last and how it holds up over some time. I'l try to remember to come back and update this in a few months.

Great head lamps! Very bright and I really like the 3 levels of brightness to choose from!

The size, usability, and price on this headlamp is right where it needs to be. My kids use it mostly for cutting their fingernails when they need just a little extra light. It's not the most solid build item, but it definitely serves it purpose. We went with the plain black version, but looks like they have lots of color options to choose from. The elastic band makes it perfect for any size head.

Very bright and easy to aim. Comfortable to wear.
