Works with Spektrum DX7S after replacing the connector
This was a much more affordable way for me to get a new battery for my Spektrum DX7S transmitter instead of buying a Spektrum branded battery pack for twice what I paid for this. I did need to cut the connector off of the old battery pack - being careful to only cut one wire at a time to avoid shorting out - and to cut off the connector from the new battery pack - again being careful to only cut one wire at a time. A little soldering and a couple of pieces of heat shrink and I was back in business. The battery pack is an exact fit replacement for the original Spektrum battery.

Great pack
Excellent. I use this for my BBQ grill built in LED lights instead of replacing AA batteries all the time.

bought for remote control battle tanks
I had to cut the plugs off the tank's original 400mAh batteries and solder those plugs onto these 2000mAh babies. Do you think the kid I bought them for will like that?! I use a 4.8V Tenergy Smart Charger (also sold at Amazon) to prevent overcharging and insure longer battery life. Both work well. The effort I had to put into making these tanks play longer was well worth it. The original Chinese junk would only play ten minutes before they needed to be recharged. These will now play just over an hour without any memory related problems.

Inadequate information
I bought this battery, and I also bought the Tenergy charger recommended. Nowhere in the instructions for the charger does it say what charging specs to set the charger to, and the charger seems to need manual input from me. The video here shows the user bumping the charger to .9 A (amps?). Why .9? Where is it indicated ANYWHERE what recommended charging specs should be? I HATE when you buy something and the sellers expect you to already be fully fluent in how the stuff operates.

The price and construction looks to be
I will use it for powering the receiver on my various Radio Control Model Airplanes. Just purchased recently. I don't have any complaints so far. The price was very reasonalbe and looks to be of very good quality.

A quality product. Will buy again if needed
I bought this battery to replace a 4.8v NiCd battery that came with one of my sons RC trucks because the original battery only gave him about 5 minutes of run time. This battery effectively fixed our problem. I had to modify the connector to make it work but now he can actually play with his toy until he's finished before the battery dies. I'm very pleased that this worked out. I'm not surprised as Tenergy batteries have been working out well for me lately for all kinds of applications. Tenergy is quickly becoming a go to brand for me because the quality has been very consistent so far in my experience.

Fast delivery!
I have several of the Tenergy Rx batteries in airplanes and they’re quite reliable. In fact they hold up better than more expensive batteries from NiCad/NiMH specialty outlets. However, it would helpful if the packs contained charging info, ie. limits, etc. They say, Read the Instructions before use; there are none!!

The back up battery for my home alarm system died again. The old AA 4pack of NiCd cells had been replaced once already and they simply wouldn't hold a charge anymore. The physical dimensions of the 4.8V Tenergy battery pack was identical but the wire connector was different from the one on the alarm system. I clipped the wire leads on the new battery pack and soldered on the old ones, put it back into the alarm system and it's been working fine ever since. The alarm company said the old battery packs were no longer available and that I'd need to upgrade the system for about $700.00. The 4.8V Tenergy battery pack replacement was a much better solution. Thanks!
