SCHLAGE F10 BRW 626 Broadway Passage Lever, Satin Chrome

I've bought several other Schlage Broadway handle-sets and really liked the look, and the balance between quality and price. The keyed entry set is disappointing though. Two separate issues: 1) The handle wobbles more than it should and it feels cheap. I thought that it might be defective and returned the original for another one, but had the same issue with the replacement. 2) I don't like the way the auto-unlock works. I wanted a lock that allows you to exit by just turning the handle, which this does. However, I had not expected the door to completely unlock its self every time your turn the handle, requiring your to re-lock the door from the outside with a key every time you leave. (e.g. if you want a kid to lock the door being them, you need to give them a key and they need to use it every time they walk our of the house). Some people may like this feature, but I would prefer to have a be able to set it to "locked", exit the house, and have the door remain locked behind me.

These look great when installed. They really made our 90's home feel a lot more up-to-date (no more brass round knobs!). My only thing, which is small, is how far you have to turn the handle to get it to release. You have to push it to almost 90 degrees to open the door. It's a lot better than being stuck in a room after you've lotioned your hands, but just a little more effort that what I was imagining. Still a great product.

I have fourteen of these around the house. I replaced all of the old funky ones that came with the house. I think they were the cheapest ones on earth.Enter the new Schlage Broadway series lever locks and passage handles. The works are much smoother than the old quicksets, and they have a more sturdy feel to them. Schlage is always more solid in my experiences with them. These are no exception.Simple to install in theory. Some of my doors were funky, and others were installed with huge non standard wood screws.After I fixed what needed fixing with my setup, these work and look perfect. Very happy with the result.The dark finish is hard and does not scratch easily. I was concerned about that.

This is the second defective doorknob I've received. It wasn't machined properly and so one of the screws couldn't be screwed more than a 1/4 inch into the hole. Pieces of metal can be seen obstructing the area. I was able to return the first doorknob, but with the stay at home order, returns are a bit awkward at the moment. I ended up finding and using a different screw and made it work.The doorknob itself seems fine. Hopefully, it holds up with the shorter screw.

This product was shipped to me without the installation parts kit (screws, flanges, tools, etc.). It was delivered in a beat-up warehouse box that is entirely different from what you'd find at a Big Box depot style home store. It was truly worthless and a complete disappointment. Imagine how you'd feel opening the "new" door knob box after having removed the old knob on your front door.

These are great. This is not top high end quality but for the price they have a nice solid feel. It is smooth and tight (though there's a delay in the motion when the latch starts to move). It's just a habit thing and doesn't hurt the function. Installation was easy. I just took the old one off and put these one in. All lined up just nicely. For the cost they're worth it...

Schlage has so many hardware styles and combinations, it can be difficult to find all the exact lever types you need for all the doors in your home. I was thrilled to find Broadway/Greenwich dummy levers for a double closet door, matching the more common passage, privacy, and keyed entry levers I just bought for my new house.

Planning for the future when you might not be able to grasp well, or simply have wet hands, my wife ordered levered handles instead of knobs for the new house. They look and function great. However once we installed them, we noticed each one of them is keyed differently. Now we must get a locksmith to key them all the same. We recommend them highly but if you are purchasing them for several doors check to see if you can get them all keyed the same. We give them 4 stars instead of 5 because this option was never mentioned while ordering but you can buy sets when you go to the big box stores.

I orginally got the privacy levers for my bathroom because with hand sanitizer, opening knobs was becoming challenging. Of course once you change one door, you have to change them all! This also solved a problem I had with the external doors all being keyed differently and not knowing who had extra copies of keys. Upon arrival...which was faster than I expected...I took the levers to be rekeyed at a local locksmith prior to installation. I was able to install them myself that afternoon. One door was actually drilled to a different size than the others, but the levers were adjustable for that to my relief. I don't mind having to use the key to lock from the outside since I need to use it for the deadbolt anyway, and it prevents you from accidentally locking yourself out.

Great door handle. Finish is high quality. One thing I didn't like is that the strike plate has a polished finish, rather than satin nickel, but that is not very noticeable since you can't even see it when the door is closed; if it really bothers you they sell true satin nickel strike plates on Amazon too (not schalge brand, they are Prime-Line) that are high quality and match perfectly; for some reason the pack of 2 is cheaper than the single.My favorite thing about this lever is that its rounded handle fits in your hand way more comfortably than the more "swooshy" style ones that are also popular, and because it doesn't curve down at the end it is easier to open with your elbow if you are carrying stuff. I also liked the flat rectangular "Latitude" lever, and actually felt the flat top face was even more comfortable, but my boss (wife) likes this one better so here we are. Both are great choices though.

This dummy (non turning) handle matches the bright chrome I installed on my bathroom door but unfortunately the back plate is not included which I needed for my linen and storage closets. I was able to work around this using an old knob's back half but was disappointed that all the parts I needed weren't there. I was able to purchase the flat back plate to fill the hole. Make sure you know what type of door you will be installing this on.

It’s exactly what I expected and does it’s job. I need to install to match the other one on the other side of the door, and this is the closest one I could find.

the lock worked well however there were marks on the trim which made be think that it had been used and returned., quite disappointing but we needed to install right away and not wait on a possible replacement or special order from the company which would have taken 6 weeks.
