Great product! We accidentally ran the hat through the washing machine... Amazingly, we dried it out, and it worked! WOW!

This is a fun novelty product, hat fits well, too. However, the instruction booklet is in such tiny print, even had trouble with my magnifier! Fortunately, my partner had gotten one earlier, so he helped me. The directions are very skimpy in identifying setting up bluetooth on your phone, identifying it, really don't need to use QR code to get app from Google Play - just the correct name of the app. It works fine, but I'd need clear directions and step by step.

Bought for fun going to meet some high school buddies. The app & sync was super easy ( even for an old dude ). Held up through the weekend as well. Didn’t try any of the more “advanced” options, just changed scrolling text often all weekend. Fun item!!

The hat came in and was NOT correct. did not have a color display, only blue, first strike, but I was on a trip and needed it, so couldn’t do anything about it. had a collar that was from the same company, stopped working cause the CHEAP WIRING, Frayed and disconnected, so no longer worked, strike two. Well now, the hat I barely used, went to use it at an event, only to find out that IT DOESN'T WORK! have been gentile with it, what’s the issue? pulled it apart, inly to find out the wires from the part that never even comes out or moves ALSO came off the product and can’t be repaired! I am absolutely PO’d right now for the money I put out on both products and they both suffered the same damage, even with light usage!!! it looks great, easy to use, fits good, but the quality and length of time it will work is unacceptable.

an excellent buy as usual but if you have a bad habit of losing stuff at work like I do every once in a while don't bother getting this but if you do door dashing like I did your going to get comments and your going to get recognized for deliveries as well as stand out in a crowd I also got the mask to go with it and they both work well with the app however at some point the app stopped working with both of them connected at one which is very odd but the app didn't get that great of reviews but functioned very well for me and what I did do in my spare time. I would buy this item again in the future if I ever loss this gadget again.

I had no problems with the hat itself, however the app required to make custom displays is very suspicious - it wants every permission possible which I find unacceptable. Attempted to use my current phone in airplane mode but could not get it to work. The hat does come with some pre-built displays so if you just want something with a bit of flair for a party/event, it will do the job, but buyer beware of giving a random app full access to your phone.
