Very bright, great quality
Home Depot used to stock Cree LED bulbs. I got a couple on clearance 10 years ago, and the one on my front porch has been on nearly every hour of every day for the last 10 years.Every bulb I bought back then still work great.Didn't think much of it when I couldn't buy them locally anymore, and when I replaced my ceiling fan I had to go to the smaller candle base light bulbs. Both GE and Phillips LED bulbs were failing every 6 to 8 months. Got tired of spending $10 per bulb several times a year, so I ordered these.Longevity remains to be seen, as these are new. But right out of the package they felt well built, and holy cow are they bright. Much better than any other bulb I've tried in this fixture.

Nice decorative, hard to find 40 watt
I could not find 40 watt candelabra style light bulbs. These are a nice choice.

Quality bulbs
Had problems with flickering lights, but these bulbs solved that. There are some issues with dimmer switches compatibility, so I purchased these bulbs because they were recommended by the dimmer switch manufacturer and behold, they solved the flickering issue! I believe the reason these bulbs solved the flickering problem is because these are high quality (and yes you pay for that quality).

Works in older dimming ceiling fans
I have a vaulted ceiling with Hunter fans and candelabra base dimmable light fixture. The dimmers expect incandescent bulbs. We rarely dim the lights so they are usually used at 100% all the time. The room is big and more light is needed.Higher wattage incandescent bulbs is not an option, fixture is limited to 160w max. Changing out the fixtures or dimmers in the ceiling fan is difficult. Using higher lumen LED bulbs is desired.LED bulbs don't necessarily function in older dimmable fixtures. To prevent the surge from instant on that can blow incandescent bulbs, the dimmers ramp up from off to 100% and this can be a problem when switching to dimmable LED bulbs as they can flicker or just blink on/off when powered. Non-dimmable LED bulbs don't work in these fixtures. Perhaps I could remove the dimmers but they are 20-feet in the air so a difficult task. These CREE LED bulbs seem to self adjust to the two typical dimming schemes employed; leading edge and trailing edge dimmers. No flicker, no on/off when powered. With these bulbs, the dimming function in my fans is not very good but since dimming is not important to me these bulbs are very satisfactory. The fixtures are limited to four 40w incandescent bulbs or 160w max. The LED bulbs are 75w equivalent and draw just 6.5W. Almost doubled the light output at a fifth of the power consumption. This is both good and bad.... good at saving energy and bad because the dimmer circuit is designed for a larger load and when driving a much smaller load from the LED bulbs the transition from dim to bright is no longer very good. After removing all 4 incandescent bulbs and installing just one CREE LED bulbs, the light did not function; needed at least 3 of the 6.5w installed to draw enough current to light the bulbs.Overall I am very pleased with these bulbs. The light output is much improved in the vaulted ceiling. I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because in my application, the dimming function is not really useful but that is more a commentary on the older Hunter Fans/light than in these CREE LED bulbs. The Hunter fans are circa 2014. Newer fixtures designed with LED bulbs in mind will operate and dim properly.Hope some of this background info helps you switch from incandescent to LED. The CREE websight has more technical info on leading/trailing edge dimmers. If CREE ever comes out with a 100w equivalent LED candelabra base, I'm in!In the photo, the fixture close to the wall has 4 CREE LED bulbs installed and the other fixture has 4 40w incandescent bulbs. The difference in light output is very evident in the room but difficult to capture in a photo.

Prices for the 75W soft white (2700k) fluctuate wildly
These are very hard to find in 75W at 2700k. I paid $6.50 per pair, and right now they are $20 per pair. Individual bulbs from Amazon and other websites range from $9-11 per bulb. Not sure why the prices are so fluctuant, but at $6 per pair they are great. Very very bright and nice color, best candelabra bulb I've gotten.

the light is not uniform
The light tone is excellent, it has a problem that sometimes it is stable and other times it blinks, I did not change them because I was busy and the 30 days of the return have passed I do not know if it is the type of dimmable lamp that I have but I am not happy with The purchase I have installed in a pair of original kartell lamps and they give me that failure, it expressly says that they are to be used with a dimmer, this function does not do it correctly, that is, there are days that it fails and others do not, it is not really reliable, it is a product that works erratically

Similar form factor and brightness to incandescent bulbs
I've got a bunch of lights that need candelabra bulbs. The incandescent bulbs I've used for decades burn out quickly and have to be changed out by the bucket full. I bought a few of these Cree LED bulbs and started mixing them in and they seamlessly blend with the old bulbs. The brightness is good and I'm looking forward to these lasting for years and years all while saving energy.

Very bright for LED candelabra bulbs, dims smoothly
Pros:- Very bright for small bulbs, one of the brightest candelabra 2700K bulbs I’ve bought- Light does not flash when turning on a ceiling fan on the same circuit. I’ve had other dimmable LED bulbs that flashed- Dims smoothlyCons:- Makes a reasonably loud humming noise when dimming. You get used to it but it’s there- pricey, about $5/bulbOverall one of the better dimmable candelabra bulbs I’ve bought. It seems rare to find 2700K ones that are brighter than 60W equivalent. The 75W brightness is not exaggerated on this bulb, definitely brighter than “60W”. We’ll see about longevity, I’ve only had them for 2 weeks so far. The humming noise when dimmed is why I took off 1 star.Edit: One bulb started failing after only 2 years, it stays on for tens of seconds and then flickers until it turns off completely. Taking off another star

Best option for a ceiling fan
These are a bit pricy but are by far the best option I’ve found for a ceiling fan that takes a candelabra (e12) bulb. I started with a 40w equivalent which was far too dim, and then tried a 60w equivalent which also wasn’t really enough given this was the main light in the room. This Cree bulb is much brighter than other options I’ve found and with a 90+ CRI it creates a very nice light. 2700k is perfect for bedrooms.
