Highly recommend if you have multiple cats!
Highly recommend if you have multiple cats!I have 3 cats Allen (5), Millie (2), Chrom (2.) M&C are from the same litter, adopted March 2024. Allen I got when he was 6 weeks old.Allen and Millie fight like Tom and Jerry. Every. Single. Day. Someone on Reddit recommend this product to me because Millie started peeing outside of the litterbox because Allen would attack her. He would full on chase her down and rip out her fur. I gave this a shot and ordered it June 15th 2025 and for a whole month it was peaceful. Millie started using the litterbox again and Allen, mostly, left her alone. It went from constant fighting to every once in a while.Today is July 15th and I’ve noticed they’re starting to fight again. So I just ordered a refill bottle. I will say that the last bottle did not make it the full month. There is still liquid in the diffuser and when I went to pull it out the outlet it got on my hand. So I think it leaks. But I didn’t notice a smell or any noise from it. I wish that it worked for human kids haha.Anyway. I will continue to repurchase this as long as it continues to keep the peace between my cats.

It works!
I brought in a stray kitten a few days ago after taking it ti the vet. I have it in a bedroom to it's self but my big baby male cat that is scared of everything has been hiding for days only coming out to eat & use letterbox. Well I just plugged in this Feliway and he came out from hiding and is laying on my daybed in the sun. He hasn't done that in months! I am so impressed with this product! It was made my poor kitten & me so happy! I Have 1 senior cat, 1 middle age cat 1 teenage cat & now a 3 month old kitten. Thank you for this product! All the cats are happier in clouding me!

helped us integrate rescue cat with aggressive resident cat
Works well for us - used for introducing a new cat to our house with a resident cat who is not great with stranger kitties. It was a tough haul, and this was one of many tools we used. Cannot say how much it helps or not, but we did manage to integrate new kitty within two months. Last time we introduced a new cat we had the Classic version (not knowing they serve different purposes using different type of pheromones) and it was closer to 4 months before they were tolerant of one another, using similar behavioral tactics. Of course, all cats are different, so it is just something you can try and see if things improve, or not. If unsure of which product to get, here is a brief primer. There are two types of pheromones used in these types of products. FFP (Facial pheromones - associated with rubbing the face on familiar/liked objects) and FAP (Appeasing/Maternal pheromone - released by mother cat when nursing and helps cats to develop an emotional bond with one another). Feliway Classic and the Spray have just the Facial pheromone. Feliway Classic has just the Appeasing pheromone. Feliway Optimum has lower concentrations of both the Facial and Appeasing pheromones. Classic is good for a generally stressed cat (peeing in inappropriate places, hiding under beds, and yowling during car rides). Multicat is good for cats that are chasing, stalking, or even fighting. Optimum is good for once the cat has settled into a less acute state - basically like a maintenance after the Classic or Multicat has created a significant change in behavior. In our case, we recently integrated a new cat from a rescue who had at least a year of being in a trauma-type state in her prior home. She quarantined in a room with the Classic Spray on surfaces and a different brand product similar to the Optimum (higher dose of the Facial pheromones than the Feliway includes) because the other cat was constantly stalking the room's door and we were trying to help that cat deal with the stress of smelling another cat. Once she was out of quarantine and integrating gradually into more parts of the house we used the Multicat Diffuser, as the biggest issue was the other cat hunting her, and she was always running away, making herself a perfect target for bullying. Now, at two months, they are able to share the rooms and her confidence is pretty good. The vet suggested we should do another round with the other product with the two types of pheromones (that product lasts about 7 weeks) and then try to see where they are with no pheromone products. The goal is to just have to use the spray for immediate stressors (vet visits, people coming to the house) and then use the optimum diffuser for prolonged stressors (family staying with us) or when a kitty is sick, as we expect the kitty with trauma history will struggle on occassion.

All the bad reviews are accurate
So first, the overheating problem. I thought maybe people just weren't plugging it in correctly and that's why it would get too hot. I did what another review suggested by buying a surge protector and plugging it into that. It still gets way too hot for my liking. So I only could keep it going for about 8 - 12 hours a day. Basically during daylight hours, when I was home. I thought the level of hot it got would be okay. It seemed to get as hot as my router does for my wifi. Which is hotter than any router I've ever had, but it's never gotten hotter than it does, nor caused any issues. So I thought maybe this would be similar. But after about 3 days of use, you can see the inside plastic starting to warp from how hot it gets. That's not safe at all! So imagine continued use, 24/7 how hot and melted that plastic will get and cause huge issues. So second, I did not have issues with it dripping like others complained about. I made sure it was completely upright and nothing under it plugged in. I made sure to screw the container in tightly and not tip the system in any way. I made sure to handle it always upright to avoid spilling. So thirdly, if the product works best leaving it on 24/7 and it can't be left plugged in due to potential over heating, then there's no point to buy this product until they do something productive about the problem so many are complaining about. I noticed no changes in behaviors of my stray momma cat I'm trying to calm down. She's flipping out to all the changes of being inside my home. I have 2 senior cats I'm keeping separate in the rest of the house, and keeping the momma in my living room. But they can see each other under the door. Not only is that flipping her out but I was told that neighbors are calling the humane officers on strays and that if I didn't want my cat taken away I should have her rabies tags on her when she's out. Welp, I haven't gotten that far into helping her. So she has no tags and can't until she's done feeding the babies. Which are only a month old. So point being, I've only been able to let her out at night. Which she saw a racoon and is now flipping out about being inside all the time, but also about going outside now. I really wanted this to work, but it's basically snake oil. I even tried rubbing it on my hands to let her sniff it since they claim it's like the pheromones momma cats put out. I thought maybe she'd calm and think I'm her momma cat. But it's not helping. She's still sitting meowing a bunch and panting like she's hyperventilating. I'm hoping once she gets spayed that will help calm her some. But clearly this stuff isn't going to help me out.Be warned, they don't allow returns on this. I figure the reason is, they know they are selling a defective product. So unless you have money to waste, just don't buy this. Believe the bad reviews and try something else if you can.
