GREAT whole-home protection.
GREAT purchase. Installed quickly and no issues. Highly recommend ensuring you have enough line to place as close to the main shut-off as possible. When in doubt, have a professional install!

Protect your house from power surges
What it is, a whole-house surge protector made by Eaton that fits in Eaton BR style main panels. It may fit in other brand panels as well but you should check. I have 2 of these in my home, one in the main panel and one in a sub panel. Give some peace of mind that if there is a big power surge this device will take the hit and not my new television. Super easy to install, but you need to be comfortable working with household electricity and panels. The other thing, Amazon has the best price by far for this item.

Easy installation
Very easy to install. Hopefully will protect the entire electrical panel from normal levels of surge.

Surge protection
I’m not sure this thing does anything. In my past experiences, a surge protector clamps the circuit so that a breaker trips therefore protecting all devices attached. I installed this on a 200 amp bus. And I have trouble believing that this device can trip a 200 amp breaker. But I could be wrong. Installation and hookup was easy.

Saw this product and thought i would give it a try. Installed and appears to work. Hopefully never need to find out for sure. One note is that the neutral is stranded wire, i didnt use ferrules but wish i had some now

fits perfect , super easy install , can not bcomment on protection ,, no surge yetbut one of the easiest installs i have performed in 30 yrs of being electrician
