Honestly, when this was delivered my husband said “it will be a miracle if this is not damaged”. The box was in horrible condition, with tears and gashes. We just knew something would be missing, or busted… Well, everything was just fine! The styrofoam was all busted up, but did it’s job very well.Anyways, it wasn’t fun putting it together. Definitely a 2 person job. It took us around 2 hours. Like other reviewers, we also have a gap between the doors.Now that it’s completed, I’m very satisfied, plus it matches my other Lorell Essentials Mahogany pieces. It’s a cheaper way to get good quality office furniture

It is beautiful, sturdy and heavy. The furniture company brought the box inside - a big flat square. It is much easier to assemble with two people. A few sizes of Philips and flat screwdrivers are helpful. There are hard plastic glides on the bottom; I added felt floor protectors. It is tricky to get the doors to line up; like another reviewer, I have a small space between the doors but this doesn't detract from its looks. It is probably not very secure; the lock is not as sturdy as the cabinet. I would not call this a bookcase. It is very and keeps all books, papers and boxes out of sight. Very pleased with the purchase.

I bought 4 pieces of the Lorell Essentials Series for my office. I love them all! I especially loved that this particular unit was already assembled. All I had to do was put the handles on, which was very easy.

II am very pleased with the product, but do not understand why the doors have a gap of about 3/8 of an inch between them in the middle of the unit when the unit is assembled. I checked as much as I could to see if I did something wrong with the assembly, but I don't think I did. Regardless, I am pleased with the product, it fits my needs, and definitely think it will last a long time. Thank you !
