I bought this on behalf of "Santa" for our son this year. I purchased this set based on a previous outstanding review and of course it's great value. However, I just wanted to share a bit of info on it's packaging. It comes in a plain cardboard box. You can't tell what it is until you open up the box and all the pieces fall out. There is no picture or logos on the outside of the box to indicate to a gift recipient what they might be receiving. So just a heads up, just in case you are shipping it as a gift. It won't matter much in our household because I'm pretty sure the elves will have it set up before Christmas morning.

I ordered this for my son for Christmas and it arrived this week. It came very well packaged, and unlike a previous reviewer, the box was covered in pictures of this train set. I had no problems following the detailed directions to assemble the track. I attached all 6 trains and when you push them over the hill, the trains follow along the track, and around the bend without falling off. The track pieces have grooves on both sides, so they're interchangeable, allowing you to make different combinations. Everything seems very well made and I can't wait to see my little guy's face Christmas morning.

So much fun for my kids. Initially bought it for my 2yr old boy, but his 5yr old sister loves it too. Was a great Christmas present! They both will spend hours building little towns and playing together, which to me, is the BEST part of the present!

My 2 year old grandson loves it. Difficult to keep raised part up due to his age but he has fun and that's what counts.

Perfect! 4 year old just loves it, 2 year old is getting assembly figures out. Keeps them busy for hours! Bonus: it keeps my husband entertained too!

The set is very cute. It arrived with one warped track. After the first day the helicopter and station came unglued and apart. I emailed the owner and he didn't respond. Amazon did do a small credit back to my cc. Which was appreciated. My son loves it (as he would love any track) but this is an expensive train set.

Although I received two by mistake (my fault- their fault?) A return was ordered right away- very satisfied. The train is just as expected. Excellent quality.

Very well made and the sides on the tracks will keep the trains from falling off the track.
