Too much sound detail … All the instruments and vocals well heard . Bass for the right amount and Treble is super . Bass and treble controls are on the rear of the speaker . They cannot be adjusted from the remote … Its a very small sized speaker . It can get loud too despite its small size . Wonderful stereo effect. Bluetooth connectivity can work flawlessly from some distance . Listen Eric Clapton Layla for the testing . Sturdy product

Dont think that clarity is poor due to this video..Ith is the problem with heavy compression of amazon site..The clarity is good and the sound is clear..Pros: Excellent Sound quality. High frequency response is good due to dome tweeter. Low frequency upto 60 hz is perfectly upto the mark due to tuned box and the port.Well built. Premium look..Portability..Bluetooth Standard codec connectivity.Optical ,coaxial, 2 aux inputs, remote.Sub woofer pre out.Cons: Mid-range 300hz to 6 khz is low ,but can be adjusted with external equilizer. Around 1 khz should be boosted..Treble is little tinny..may be little boosted response around 10khz 11 khz range..Should be high at 13 to 15 khz range..Due to a dip in midrange , feel that punch is less. But everything can be balanced with external equilizer upto an extent..Summary: Overall a good system better than soundbar due to the low frequency responses from main speaker. But overpriced. Sony soundbar with subwoofer costs 17000rs. Wattge also high. Sound clarity is different.I bought this to add heavy subwoofer of my choice..If add subwoofer the sound is heavy like a 2000 watts system..I add car subwoofer of 300 watts rms..Nice effect and response..Good for bedrooms, may be not good for big rooms..

Got the product today. Initial impression ia good, not best

The media could not be loaded. I’m beyond impressed with Edifier R1855DB bookshelf speakers! The bass is punchy, the audio is crystal-clear, and the treble controls work perfectly, allowing for precise tuning to suit my preferences. The stereo separation is excellent, making watching movies an incredibly immersive experience. It sounds plenty loud for my room size of 100 sq. ft., and the output quality is remarkable.To get the best performance, always keep the speakers at ear level, as they are designed as bookshelf speakers. If you’re considering adding a subwoofer in the future, these pair perfectly with one. You don’t necessarily need to go with the Edifier T5, any 10-12 inch subwoofer from another brand would work great.That said, if you’re a music lover, you’ll absolutely fall in love with these speakers. I find myself always wanting to listen to music through them—they’re that good! Highly recommended for audiophiles and casual listeners alike.

When first I received the speakers, it had some issues, the left speaker had very low and weak sound compared to the right one. I raised replacement request and thankfully I received the replacement in 1 day. The replacement speakers are perfect, the sound stage is so well balanced that sound perfectly aligns in the center even though my speakers are on the sides. It has pretty good bass too and I haven't even increased it from the back. I personally don't see a need of sub-woofer unless you want chest thumping bass. I have it connected with my monitor's 3.5 mm jack, via which I play ps5 games and movies/series with Apple TV 4k and it's just perfect for my setup. Even for music its great and I barely raise it to full volume. I find the sound signature is very close to that of Apple Macbook Pros, crisp and perfectly balanced.

I bought this item almost a year ago. Writing this review after a year of usage.I use these speakers for only music, I listen to all kind of music. So this review is based on music performance.The sound is crystal clear. Even at high volumes, with Heavy bass, there is only very small distortion I can hear.You won’t need a subwoofer if you are not going to use it for movies. It can produce more than enough bass listen to music. I used to keep it at 50 percent. I never felt I need a subwoofer.It offers great connectivity, no connection loss for decent distance. I used to roam around ground floor without getting disconnected most of the times.Look and asthetics also very good. It actually improve your room asthetics.I’m not an audiophile, but love to listen to crystal clear audio with lows mids highs well classified. For me, this worth every penny and I’m completely satisfied with this buy.I have a Sony home theatre system for movies. Before buying this one, I used listen to music with that system(N9200) only. But edifiers are definitely best.If you are looking for good studio monitors, this is unmatchable in this price range.Give it 20 30 hours of playtime to burn them in. After that it is totally different beast. Bass improves multiple times. I could feel the change for around first 100 hours.

The speakers have a good amount of oopmh to it, they can get loud and punchy. I use a basic preamp before this for more EQ control which also helps in adding some depth to the sound. It sounds great even without a preamp.Perfect for a bedroom setup if you're listening through bluetooth, with desktop/ laptop, vinyl listening, etc.For a living room setup, I'd recommend getting a subwoofer (which I think is an additional 15k) so you can get the best of out these.
