It's a little flimsy but no other issues. Review: fun! - I love David Eddings's books. The characters are quirky, warm, and loving and the plot is fun. The Tamuli is no exception to this. I find this series to be a lovely example of the optimism that David Eddings shows in his portrayal of the ways that people can be. The characters undoubtably have their faults, but the good guys are easy to love despite their faults and the bad guys seem more messed up then evil. I reread David Eddings's books frequently for the comfort of his writing, it is a reminder to me of all the good things about people that I sometimes forget when things are going poorly for me.

A Great Second Act for Sir Sparhawk
I fell in love with David Eddings' work in high school. His books are written almost tongue-in-cheek, and there's a sly wit to his stories. Having devoured the Belgariad and Mallorean, I chewed through the Elenium and Talmuli rather quickly. Unfortunately, paperbacks have a way of finding themselves lost when they have been loaned out too many times, and I was missing several of the individual books of the story of Sir Sparhawk. I LOVE having the trilogy in one binding. Granted, it's not as durable as a hardbound book, but it IS nicely packaged in one edition. So far, the binding glue seems durable, which is a nice change from some of the Del Rey books I have purchased in the past. I have been reading David Eddings' works for almost twenty years now, and his books are worth the time to read and re-read.

Magnificent book Print production issue
About 30 pages part of the way through the book were cut short. The cost of return exceeded the price of the book. I wanted the book as a kindle but it was not available where I live. I gofted the copy to a school library. The story is magnificent, two dimensional characters. Eddings high fantasy. Strong female characters thanks to Eddings' wife.

You'll love it!
A partial collection of 3 of the 5 original books of the Mallorean, the second series following a young man, Garion, who goes from a peasant to a king and Overlord, Belgarian. He then in this second series we follow him as he frantically searches the world for his son. Eddings is a great author who gives great imagery, without wallowing in it, so it is as if you are there with the travelers. I suggest reading the first series (also 5 books - The Belgariad) to get to know the young man Belgarian. I've read these books at least 5 times, once aloud to my son - and my husband!

cheap printing of an excellent series
This is a modern pulp printing. They combined three books into one binding: it is heavy and awkward to hold. But compared to buying the hardcovers or soft-covers; it is well worth the cost difference. The print is easily readable. The paper although lower quality is more than adequate. The series itself is my favorite work by one of my favorite authors. I wore out my softcovers of this series. Unfortunately at this time, much of David Eddings' catalogue is unavailable on kindle. This is the next best option IMO.

Eddings est un excellent auteur Dommage que le papier soit de qualité aussi médiocre, et la brochure si mal réalisée

The Tamuli begins shortly after The Elenium ends and it is the crown jewel of all David Eddings' works. Follow Sparhawk as he uncovers his destiny - the man without a destiny - through an incredible tapestry of events involving ancient enemies, dear friends, loves, betrayals, and implacable gods. Spanning events that cross oceans, deserts and mountains, from glorious city palaces with all their intrigues to the dens of thieves and cutthroats, this is a story that will bring you to tears and joyous laughter - maybe even to your feet as you soar with satisfaction as evils reap their own rewards. This is Eddings at his very finest.

Just getting a new version to make up the series on my bookshelves. An old favourite. Always good value, actually read the books years ago when they first came out. Supplier was prompt and reliable, item as expected and in good quality.

This trilogy was surprisingly hard to find, glad it was on Amazon. Shipped quickly and in good condition. Husband happy with this. The only thing I would point out is that being a trilogy in one binding, it would be a little awkward for me to hold, as I have small hands, but my husband doesn’t have any issues.

I read these books so much I keep wearing them out. This book will likely wear out faster than others due to the thinner pages, but since I got it free with gift cards, I'm not too worried about it.
