My 99 year old mother-in-law has used a book very similar to this one for recording all her expenses since 1985. She needed a new book, but I honestly didn't think I could find one like it. When i saw this one, I was stunned. I never expected to find a book with the same cover and basically the same size. (Although with less pages). She was so happy and started using it right away. The item shipped quickly and was very well made. We are really pleased.

Whatever pen I use does not bleed through the paper, since it’s good quality, and the heavy board cover means the journal stays intact for longer than I probably will 😊.

I have been using this particular style of journal since I got married in 1962. It is still the same "style". It is ideal for keeping track of expenses

I bought this book at a local store in 1992 to keep a log of all of my phone calls. (Doing so has saved my bacon more times that I can count!) I am getting to the end of the pages on the original book, and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find the same analog-type. I looked, and there it was! The same book that I have come to rely on and love, so I immediately ordered it. It came quickly, and it is the exact same book as the one I purchased 26 years ago. I actually hugged it- we oldsters love our traditions and methods. They may be slow, but they are reliable and don't need an electrical outlet to operate. If you are like me, and prefer the tried and true to the modern and flashy, this is the book for you. Use it for notes, a phone log (as I do), plans, whatever. It has such a nice feel and look that I don't hide it on my desk.
