Both the soap and the oil are absolutely amazing!!! They have transformed the cast iron on my oven hobs, I am so happy to have these and couldn't recommend them more!!! 😊

I’ve been using the Caron & Doucet Cast Iron Soap and Oil for my cast iron skillet, and I’m very happy with the results. Both products work great — the soap cleans without stripping the seasoning, and the oil helps maintain a nice, smooth finish. I bought the soap and the oil because my husband is incorrigible -- whenever he gets near my cast iron pans and washes them (not that often, but often enough!), he uses soap. Doesn't matter how often I tell him not to use soap, and show him how they are cleaned, he scoffs and claims that everything needs to be washed with soap. So I got this soap for him to use so that I would not have to keep re-seasoning my cast iron all the time. Brilliant!!! The soap leaves the cast iron better conditioned than it was before, and my husband uses it because it is labelled as soap. And the oil leaves a fantastic finish, helping me to preserve the seasoning on my cast iron. If that were all it did, these products (expensive as they are) would be worth getting. But I have used them to clean the troublesome cast iron grates on my Wolf stove, and oh my gosh, the last time my grates looked this good they were brand new!!! These two products clean and preserve the seasoning. Bloody brilliant. I just wish they came in larger size bottles and were cheaper -- my only quibble.
