I lived in the American midwest-lush, full of varieties of plant life. Me, being a ridiculous toddler with minimal parental overview, loved to go eat what grew in our back yard. Yellow wood sorrels,dandelion tops, and best of all- barbarries! Fresh, they had a tart, sweet, sour complex flavor I couldn't get enough of.
