Good parts

This came nicely packed and in good condition. With the help of a YouTube video, I was able to fully install the unit in less that 2 hours after finding the right tools in my garage. It does take some effort, but the videos, especially if you watch a few of them, will walk you through the whole process. Put in the time and effort and you should be please with the results. Be careful not to drop anything into the door especially after you have replaced the inside door panel. I also took a few pictures along the way to help me put everything back together as I found it. My vehicle is gold, and the cap came in black, so I just bought another black cap for the other side of the truck. Snaps on easily. Others have suggested painting the cap to match, but with older faded paint, I figured just go with the black and be done with it. Easy to do and well worth the effort and investment.

I had a derp moment with this at first. Once I corrected my foolishness the mirror was easy to deal with. Went on with no trouble.

We bought both driver side and passenger side mirrors to replace factory. The install is a bit tricky and had to watch on Youtube as you have to take pretty much entire door and panel apart. Once figured that part install was pretty easy. It gives a wider view vs stock on driver side, passenger side wish it would give more view to the back and side then it does. The one downside is that it rocks/vibrates at highway speeds and with any sort of wind.
