A must for MS Surface Dock @ resolutions above 1920x1080
If you have a Microsoft Surface Pro dock (new cube style) and trying to get a resolution of 2560x1440, this is a must. Passive Mini-DP to HDMI will not work. Good build quality - does the job.

Works with 4K TV where passive cable failed
I got this cable to connect a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 to a 4K TV as the passive cable I had wouldn't support the larger TV. The cable works perfectly and arrived a day quicker than expected.

Perfect DP to HDMI cable
It does what it says in the description. A great solution for connecting a Surface Pro 4 (or anything with mini displayport) to HDMI.
