New Balance Men's Fresh Foam Arishi V1 Running Shoe

These sneaks have held up quite well. Especially in the big toe area that my Asics wore a hole thru.

I love New Balance shoes. I've been wearing them since the late 90's and I'm glad they are definitely coming back in a big way.The Arishi fall a little short in terms of a shoe I'd recommend though. They don't have much structure and are meant to be a trail shoe, so they feel a little lacking in terms of protection, stability, and support. They are reasonably cushioned , but if you've use some of the other Fresh Foam shoes from NB, these really don't wow in any way. I bought them for the Gore-Tex construction, but the shoes overall just didn't feel very comfortable, so even with the fancy materials, I sent them back.I'd say give these a pass, there are plenty of better shoes from New Balance to pick from.

I have wide feet, ok I will call it like it is, I have fat feet. My wife calls them Fred Flintstone feet. Enough about my feet and more about the running shoe. Very roomy toe box, sturdy ankle support and makes your foot feel secure when laced up. I would like to say I will never run in these shoes unless I am being chased by a monster. I’m not the running type but these shoes are supper comfortable and very lite weight.

Love the new balance extra wide. Lightweight shoes. Good for running.

Light weight,breathable,comfortable.Not a million dollars. What else do you need ?

Okay, this is going to be a strange review full of contradictory statements to my 5 star rating. The first thing I noticed is the box was worn, not just damage from shipping but might have been returned by a previous buyer. The corners were torn (but the shipping container wasn't) and it has a bent crushed look which if you are a frequent New Balance buyer, the boxes are strong, even when they use softpak shipping. When I ordered, I was ordering 11 XW - but the confirmation said 4E. Okay, being that I had foot issues, I will have to wait and see because what I clearly selected was women's 11 XW. What the box reads is a Mens 11 4E. This is not a mens's 11 because when I tried the shoe on, it was not bigger in the toe. Now there is a little room in the toe but not 2 sizes more (a women's 11 = a men's 9). So this is also probably why this product and style has been sitting around for awhile and why I got I ridiculous low price for new balance.....Now putting it all aside --- it turned out exactly what I needed. I wear a women's 11 XW. I had 3 knee replacements within 4 months and the constant surgery, etc. did not help with the over all health of my leg. I find I do not have much stability with those thick athletic heels and soles but needed an athletic shoe. I tried these on with thick socks and I was skeptical but was surprised of how comfortable they were. This is one of those situations where everything the customer would return the shoe for, worked out for me.If you wear a women's 11 XW, these will work. It does not seem when you first see, but they do.

I use this shoe strictly for working out and I have some issues with the tongue, which seems to be wide and very thin, so it folds over when putting my shoe on and rubs against the top of my foot, if not unfolded. So I have to work on the tongue every time I put this shoe on.

Good for lite usage e.g. brisk walk, gym, daily usage. Worth the money, looks good, comfortable.

Ok, I constantly buy New balance running shoes, to be exact a pair each 2 years. I use to jog 3 times a week and walk almost 8km when I am not jogging. All my other pairs are finish after 2 summers. This one, is confortable as the older ones, but not sure they will last one summer, they are already showing distress and the shoe soles are already getting to the end…

It's difficult to buy running shoes online. These look like the type of shoes that would work for me, but the size 13 fit a bit long and a bit narrow for me. No arch support. Not a good choice if you are a little flat footed. There isn't much spring and the bottom doesn't have that forward angle I enjoy in a good running shoe. On the positive side the heel locks in great. I'm not going to give this shoe a rating. Giving this a 4 because it's a decent shoe at this prie point but not the right fit and not the qualities that I look for in a running shoe - so I sent it back.
