(Glow light) Low color brightness
This item worked but seemed dimmer than I was expecting. Mine didn't light up at all, so major improvement since it glows now. But it glows white light not green or yellow like many other lights in my 2006 tahoe

Worked perfectly. LED Could be brighter
Old one was glitching and has a dull amber incandescent bulb. This one has a White LED and works like OEM. The LED could be a little brighter but matches the rest of the dash fine.

White not Green Light
The media could not be loaded. THIS UNIT IS WHITE LIGHTS. Which is what i needed. Some GMs have green as the pictures suggest. I just bought and installed this unit a few days ago. Out of the box the functions felt "crunchy". The dimmer wheel has contacts that ride over text printed on the board which gives it a weird feeling. I also opened up the OEM and the 2 are very similar, the difference is lubrication.I added dielectric grease to the contacts for the dimmer, the detent for the headlight knob and the mechanism for the dome defeat switch. That's all it really needed to feel better than the OEM. Caution: There are a couple springs and small parts inside that like to fly out.The face plate is black and the light color is close but not perfect, see my video.I'm happy with it as long as it holds up over time.

Fixed the issue with the dash light dimmer and dome light cutoff.The switch feels more solid than the original and was a simple one plug install that did not require the removal of the entire dash cover. (I just lowered the steering wheel, and popped about half of the clips and did the swap.

Inferior Product. Instrument lights veriable switch does not work.
Inferior Product you can tell by none copper switch swipe contact. Instrument lights variable switch does not work.
