Excellent EQ book - should be required reading for all!
This is one of the best business books I have ever read and should be required reading in every business school. If you want to improve emotional intelligence and learn to deal with people better and more effectively, this is a great step in the right direction. Very highly recommended!

Everyone should buy this book
I first encountered Social Styles back in the 80s as part of a Wilson Learning course on Counsellor Selling. It was obvious that this was an excellent tool for improving communications not only with current or potential clients but also with the world in general. Unlike some other systems that can amount to covert manipulation of others, Social Styles is a description of communication style preferences that you can share openly with clients, family and friends. In my financial planning practice we would describe the system to clients at the first meeting and help them to identify their own style and how they like to be communicated with. I recently purchased this new edition of the book and found it even better than before. Buy it, read it, learn from it and then get copies for your clients!
