Works great, No Issues
Very nice tent, I was able to put it up in the bed of the 05 Dodge Ram truck 6ft bed in about 15 min, I didn't have to put it on the ground first. I have a foldable bed cover and this tent fit nicely with it, no issues there, and the opening fits to the tailgate like a little balcony. Zippers were easy to zip open and closed, no binding. The material is the typical tent type material, pretty strong, and I had no bad seams. The poles are fiberglass, and bent well and easy. I took the tent down part way by pulling the poles part the way out and collapsing the entire tent so I could close the bed cover so we could drive down the road to the lake with no issues, and putting it back up was a 5 min process. All the cords for tying down fit all the places they needed to anchor to. The floor is the same material as the whole tent, I thought it was going to be a tarp like material, but not this one, but still no issues. I cant wait to go out again with this tent, Im glad I got it.

Exactly what I wanted
I was excited to receive this tent to use on the back of my truck. Fast delivery and it came out of the box looking great. I decided to put it together in garage to make sure I understood and it was fairly simple. Little of adjusting back and forth to get the rods evenly spaced, but not tough at all. Put it on the truck and it was a pretty good fit, not perfect, but good. Strapped down fairly easily although around the tailgate took some getting used to. Roomy inside, flaps seemed to seal well, decent height, and I didn’t feel like it was going to blow away off my truck. I left it in my garage overnight and then took it down in preparation for going camping. That’s when I found the issue. The little nylon pockets where the rod ends rest. The two in the back toward the cab of the truck were looking like they were going to break. I immediately started thinking about reinforcing them somehow, then realized if it’s doing this on a test run, how fast is this going to wear out and break? I’m guessing I’d have to buy another tent once a year or slightly more. At this price, it’s not worth buying yearly-ish. I think if the company makes the nylon rod end holders more durable, this would be great. I debated whether to get a replacement, but decided to try another brand so I started the return process. The company reached out to me and were really nice + concerned about the issue. I sent them pictures. They offered to replace, but I already have another brand being shipped. If I have problems with the other tent, I may give this unit another try. Maybe I just got an “off” unit, but there didn’t seem to be anything wrong with the nylon. Maybe too much pressure on it. I was going to give a little less stars, but the customer service was surprisingly good and overall the tent met all my needs except durability Update: Customer service reached out to me and, even after I was refunded, wanted to try to make things right. They ended up shipping me another unit for me to try. I can’t say enough how impressed I am with the support received. They were very pleasant throughout and only wanted to help me. I tried the new unit and it did not have the same issue with the nylon pockets. I’m glad that turned out to be unusual. I’ve now used the tent 4 times and it’s great. Good fit on my truck. The only issue I’ve noticed over time is the liner is a tad thin. It’s already starting to show a couple minor pinpoint holes. It’s a good tent though. Definitely adding a star back and would recommend, especially if you can catch it on sale!

GREAT
Fits a Chevy 2500 like a glove, easy assembly and disassembly, and looks good too! It leaked at the top with early morning frost melt, absolutely recommend bringing the rain fly no matter what just in case. The zippers are smooth and zipper strings are sleek and feel good. No complaints, gorgeous tent worth the money, used it once can't wait to use it again in the Spring!

Great tent - kept me dry through a rainy night.
Used it a couple of times so far. As of now, it is holding up great. The very first night I used it, it rained pretty hard. No leaks at all. Easy to set up. Seems to be good quality that should last a while.

I Was Wrong.....
UPDATE April 13, 2025-After having used this tent on a recent camping outing, this truck tent is actually pretty darn good. While set up is a bit fiddly, overall, it was a very solid shelter that was room and had PLENTY of headroom. The ten materials are solid and provided plenty of protection from the chilly winds along the Appalachain Trail. The zippers are very good and did not snag upon entry and exit. I did experience a little rain and the fly kept me dry. I do feel confident that this tent can old up to long periods of rain and not wet out. In addition, this tent really shines when dipsersed camping. All you need is a flat spot to park your truck, set up your shelter and you have a comfortable place to sleep for the night. If you're on the fence, go ahead and give this tent a try. Customer service is very responsive and will work with you if you have any issues so you have nothing to lose! Happy camping! UPDATE: I received a replacement tent with aluminum poles and that was extremely cool of the vendor. Sadly, I am still having issues with this tent. This time, the tent came with a bent pole tip. PLEASE tell me how I can get a spare set of poles? I really want to love this tent but these issues are becoming annoying in a hurry! I was very excited about this tent after reading reviews and watching multiple videos. Sadly, this tent did not come close to my expectations. The tent poles are VERY flimsy and the knots on the ends of the shock cord can be pulled through the poles without much pressure. In addition, setting this think up is a nightmare. Poles won’t stay in their pockets and too much care has to be taken to not break these flimsy fiberglass poles. Just an awful tent. Save your money and avoid this junk.

Fits a 2021 F-150 great with lots of headroom
I got this tent to use in my 2021 Ford F-150 short bed truck. It fits the bed very well and lets me use the tailgate as part of the tent floor area. It sits on the bed sides and has an enclosed floor. This is important to me to keep any dust/dirt from the truck bed outside the tent. Some things I really like: * it is tall inside. I can stand up inside, mostly, just a bit hunched over. This is great for changing clothes in the privacy of the tent. * it comes with a rain fly. However, it seems mostly water repellent without the rain fly. When I used this tent a couple weeks ago there was a thunderstorm. It stayed completely dry inside. I would have put the rain fly on if there had been stronger wind. * it fits a full size inflatable mattress with some room to spare. I am able to keep my backpack and a few other things next to my inflatable mattress inside the tent. For occasional camping, this is great for me. I'm not looking for a permanent camper shell at this point (more expensive, I lose "truck stuff usage" utility). It's quick to set up and take down. It comes in a stuff sack bag. My only suggestion to improve it would be to have microfiber sheaths for the tie-down straps to protect the paint.

Unimpressed
I'll start off by saying, I loved this tent when I bought it last year. I bought it for a 10 day camping trip and it performed without any issues. I then put it away for the winter. Fast forward to this year, I'm planning a 14 day camping trip, given I have only used this tent a handful of times I expected no issues. Our first night setting up, the shock cord, in not one but two of our rods had severely worn down in MULTIPLE places on each cord. These worn areas then tore when we began to set it up. This was not a fun experience trying to set up without having the rods fall apart on us. I managed by buying some replacement shock cord in the next town. I repaired the rods and went on our way not expecting any other problems. A few nights later, we were zipping the door of our tent closed when the zipper got a little caught in the trim that covers the zipper track. I tried my best to be delicate and remove it. In this process the zipper BROKE into two pieces. Mind you, I wasn't being overly aggression or yanking hard, it just snapped. This left us scrambling yet again to find a solution. We had safety clip close our tent for the rest of the trip. The rods themselves seemed to show signs of wear by this time as well. We had some cracks and bent rods which is baffling to me given how many times we used it. I feel like I've been able to use a 20 dollar Walmart tent that lasted more nights. And to add insult to injury, this thing is not water proof in the slightest. I would have had a lot of cold, wet nights if I hadn't always brought a tarp to cover this thing with. The entire time I was worried about what else would go wrong and was severely disappointment in the "cut corners" in this tent. I threw it away the moment I got home. I loved it for the time I had it (and it was working) but I can't recommend it if you want peace of mind.
