La base du rotor a ete installer 10 deg trop en avance et ne peut etre deplacer car ses presser garder le cap et rotor et placer sur mon vieux distributeur

Great product, cant beat the sweet deal price

Seems exc condition. Looks as what was pictured. Not installed yet but i am assuming it will be a fine product as i have ordered from Ateam before and had great results.

Poor quality

Doesn’t fit tight enough at the neck for my liking and hard to time

Works great at a fraction of the price of oem.

Good quality replacement, drop in and turn key!.

Metal body! Fires up first try!

1. All metal construction. The tabs that hold the distributor cap in place are aluminum!! The screws for the cap are fine thread "bolt style" threads. The screws heads are Phillips.2. The rotor uses Phillips head screws.3. The cam gear appears to be high quality.4. The electrical plug was a bit too long. I used sandpaper to make the plug shorter.5. VERY IMPORTANT reminder for all mechanics: Inside the distributor's cam gear is a flat bladed screwdriver thingie that engages the OIL PUMP. If you can't get the rotor to align with the "8", here is the fix: remove distributor. Stick a long flat bladed screwdriver into the hole, and turn the oil pump a few degrees. Reinstall distributor.Discussion: The camshaft spins the distributor gear, and therefore spins the rotor. The flat bladed screwdriver inside the distributor gear spins the oil pump. (Deep inside your engine, the oil pump drive is sitting next to the camshaft). If the oil pump "female" slot is not perfectly aligned with the cam gear, the ignition timing will be off. No start. Not able to aim the rotor at the "8" embossed on the distributor body while keeping the flat side of the dist body parallel with the intake manifold. . TIP: No need to remove a valve cover to check for TDC. Remove top half of fan shroud, so you can see the crank pulley timing marks. Rotate engine by hand ( 1 3/4" water pump wrench on the fan). Rotate until timing mark lines up. At this point, the cam timing is either perfect, or 180 out. Install Distributor. Fire it up. If it backfires, carefully lift the dist body and rotate the rotor 180 degrees. Fires up first time. // Dont worry about cam retard nonsense.
