I like that I got the advertised textbook, and it was in usable condition, however good condition borders on false advertising.

This was for an engineering class for my daughter

The book is good... As long as it came with no missing page, it is okay for me.

The book is quite wore out! I would never buy this.

The paperback "global edition" shouldn't be an option to select.The book may be fine, but my class uses the hardcopy which has different problems / problem numbers in it. Also, finding detailed solutions for the problems in the "global edition" doesn't seem to be possible thus far....1 star for Amazon, not the book I guess.

I got the package and it literally looks like a truck ran it over. THE BOOK IS BENT!!!

I ordered two pair the first pair was great. The flamingo pair had a huge rip in the butt. I loved the pattern.

While I don't have any reason to doubt the individual facts in this wretched mess of a book, so much is done within the pages of this book to deliberately scramble its message sheerly to justify another edition, so that older editions are rendered useless for reference, and a student must therefore purchase needlessly this book.Frequently, appendixes are deliberately tough to understand because pages have been needlessly scrambled. Crucial information is omitted and relayed via appendix because of lazy book scrambling. If you are an instructor and you use this book, you are contributing to this problem.
