My Venus Is Thriving!
Arrived safely in good condition so I was pleased. I have had it for almost 4 months now and it is thriving. It has doubled in size. I stand it in about 2cm rain water on pebbles in a pot and it seems to like it. Has even caught itself dinner occasionally, other times I use liquid venus fly trap food.

They’re okay, packaged well so no damage
It was okay, not as good quality as I’d hoped, about 5 traps came rotten which was disappointing and out of the rest, only 2 of them actually close when given a live bugIf they were more alive it would have been perfect, the size is good for the price. They were packaged well so no damage and the instructions were a little vague but clear, no fertiliser and keep damp preferably with rainwater. Nice green colours and the red is showing through nicely

Great Flytrap just do basic care research before you buy
My Flytrap arrived quickly and came with many open leaves. Does come with an instruction card telling you how to water. I would have given 5 stars but I am unsure the soil in the pot is the correct soil it needs to grow. If like me you bought without doing research on the plant here are a few tips that I have learnt:- Repot into a larger pot as soon as you recieve the plant, use a carnivorous plant specific potting mixture as it needs unenriched peat moss and perlite to grow in.- Only water with rainwater or distilled water.- Under no circumstances force the leaves to close, this can potentially kill that leaf if done frequently.- It will go dormant over winter but make sure to repot again in the spring.I'm looking forward to having my Flytrap for many, many years and I would definitely buy one again.

Oh dear.
I wish I had taken a photo for people to see. The poor thing was half dead, I understand the need for moisture whilst in transit but it was drowning and had gone into flower which is a big no no for these plants if you want them to thrive. Cheap is not always wise, Hantsflytrap are recommended.

Lovely Plant
Bought this as a jokey birthday present for my husband over a year ago and it’s still going strong. You do need special soil and only to use rain water for it but it’s worth the effort-this one even flowered!
