Worked immediately on a 1998 Honda CRV
I changed my oil pan gasket on my 1998 Honda CRV and soon after it was hesitating and jerking so suspected I damaged the wires to the upstream O2 sensor when I had to lower the exhaust. The exhaust hangers were not supporting all the weight of the exhaust so some of it was on the O2 sensor wires. I. bought a trouble code scanner that confirmed my suspicion then I installed this new sensor and it immediate fixed the problem and the trouble code went away too on the next scan. I did not have to use a special O2 sensor socket that is slotted for the wires or let the exhaust heat up for 15 minutes to get the old one out. I just dropped the exhaust again so I could get my grinder with metal cut off blade on the O2 sensor and cut it off so I could get a regular socket wrench with breaker bar on it. I soaked it with penetrating oil first and let set for 15 minutes then the old one came right out. I used some anti seize compound on the new one.

Saved me over 200 dollars!
Works great! You can use O2 Sensor wrench set for FREE from AutoZone. Mechanic quoted $230 to replace this sensor (sensor part he said would be $170, plus labor). So I did it for less than $20 with this part and free tools!! Watch your knuckles when you pull the old one out - wear some sort of gloves if you are not confident on your wrenching skills.

Works so far
Installed on my 2001 Honda CR-V. It’s a bit longer than the old but works fine so far no more code 420 which means your oxygen sensor is probably bad or cat converter but cheaper to to start with this. I used it on the area right below exhaust manifold so before the cat. Not the one under/beneath the carriage. Takes about 50-60 miles of normal driving to find out if it works. Freeway and city driving. Gotta reset your check light first.

Works Well But Might Be Sensitive To Water
This perfectly fit my 2001 CRV and eliminated my check engine light, however, last week (7 months later) it got soaked in a deep puddle, went intermittent, and requires replacement again. To be safe, I will be shopping for a different brand.
