These are fantastic! So lightweight and comfortable. Water just wicks off of them. The sizing is quite small. I wear a 6 normally but had to get a 12 in these and they fit perfectly. Have them in Black, blue, and gray.

I got these because we are heading to Disney soon. I wanted something to be able to wear in the pool and not burn up my thighs with chub rub if I choose to throw on a swimsuit cover-up and stroll thru the resort. These have a nice fit, are true to size, and have stretch. They are very comfortable. The front pockets are ok but I wouldn't trust them to keep anything in a pool. They say draw string - and they do have a draw string, but they also have a zip fly with a snap. I'm 5'8" and the 10 inches falls at my knee - like a slightly long bermuda. Also, the legs are not tight...I expected them to be....They are still going to be fine in the water. Other than the price, I'm pleased with them.

The material (both feel and weight), the length, the draw-string waist, the pockets... I love everything about these shorts!

I normally wear a 14 regular in most pants but ordered a 16 plus in these based on other reviews and am glad I did. They just fit and the waist is slightly snug. I could probably even order an 18 plus and they’d be a little more comfortable.

These shorts are AWESOME!! They are lightweight and comfy (perfect for hot summers), and flattering. They can be casual, or dressed up a bit with a nicer shirt. For anyone looking for great shorts that aren’t the typical short shorts, these are what you want!!I bought the blue and black versions of these shorts a year ago, and decided to try the other colors - they did not disappoint. After reading the reviews I decided to size up some (these are a size 6). I’m not usually one to post pictures, but I really appreciate when others include them in their posts, so I decided to return the favor.

Cool fabric and a great length.

I own 5 pairs 2 black, 2 Nocturnal and 1 Tusk all fit great. I ordered the City Gray 3x even straight from Columbia and they are 2” smaller in the waist band. I showed a photo laying flat it an 1” smaller so that equals 2 “ total front and back. The hips and legs are the same just around the waistband.I love thé length, slim leg and fabric. I use them for running and walking or just to wear around town.I’m a slim, athletic older women, so short shorts aren’t the best for me anymore. I live in Hawaii and want to stay active and these are just what I was looking for.The sizing is not real consistant. I had to order a few in the same size. To get one that fit. Also keep in mind they do stretch. I think that when I ordered more and they were tighter than my 1st pair, mine stretched a little. Once I got one I could button it did fit better after wearing them for a day.I’m 5’4” 115-117 lb and the size 4 fits me. I wear a small in workout tights. I hope this helps.Up date I tried 3 more times to get a City Gray that fit. They fit like a 2 or smaller in the waistband.I really want a Gray pair a tried the 6 and it was big all over. Come on Columbia fix this issue

I have these shorts and two colors and love them, especially for travel. They are very sturdy and comfortable and wash up easily. Any suitcase wrinkles shake out when you wear them. You will likely want a size larger than your usual.

These shorts are great for the hot weather as they are lightweight and very comfortable. Plus they are a longer length short and I was looking for this. I liked them so much that I ordered a second pair!
