I have to review this just because of the Jacks and Queens. The Jacks have a B instead of a J and the Queens have a D instead of a Q. The set is very nice and I love it but it does take time to think this through and get used to if this is not the normal labeling in cards you've grown up with. According to AI (so you dont have to look it up) Your deck of cards has a "B" on the Jack and a "D" on the Queen because they are likely a German or Dutch deck, with the letters standing for Bube (Jack/Knave) and Dame (Queen/Lady), or Boer (Farmer) and Dame (Lady) in Dutch. This is a regional difference from standard English decks that use "J" and "Q". Because it actually says 'German' in the description they were selling, I gave it 5 stars even though I didnt know what that meant when I bought them. My fault though and I probably still would have bought them knowing this in advance, just because its a nice set and carrying case.

Great product and good service

First of all, YES, these cards have a “B” and not a “J” for the Jack (between the 10 and Queen). That’s in the description though so I know it was coming and am not bothered my it. The whole packaging is high quality. It comes in a box which is so nice I will repurpose it for something else. The travel case itself feels sturdy inside and out. I bought this for my grandma since she loves cards and this is great for when she travels around. The waterproof cards will be great when she’s camping specifically. The pad is great for scoring and the rules sheet included has new varieties to play Rummy that I know my grandma will love to try out. I was very impressed. Great purchase.

Having purchased bullet waterproof cards in the past we were excited about this set however it did not live up to the previous sets. First of all we seem to have gotten a German set with d for the queen and b for the Jack. Also the red ink runs a bit when it gets wet. Otherwise a nice set

This set is beautiful, and well made. German Rummy is our favorite family game, and I couldn't be more proud of this set! If you want a set that will last, don't hesitate, these are perfect. (I spent 7 years as a casino dealer, most of them in High Limit. These are way nicer cards than I ever handled!)

I have purchased playing cards from this shop several times before and recommended it to all my friends. However, this time, the cards do not have the same quality as before. My friends have also complained about their new ones.
