Ateco Set of 3 Sugar Paste Flower Cutters

A bit smaller than I thought, and not the easiest to clean, but manageable.Easy to use for daintier projects, not meant for use as a cookie cutter.Might've given more stars, but my package only came with two, not a set of three as advertised.

Smaller than expected

These were great. I punched 100 of the smallest leaf for cupcakes (using fondant) and it held up. I was concerned about the size when I read the other reviews but they were exactly what I needed and expected. It was a little difficult to clean, but I just soaked in water as other reviewers suggested and then it was fine. I'm also guessing that letting the fondant dry would also make for easy clean up. All in all a great little tool and I'm looking forward to using it again.

I was excited to get these but when they came 2 of the 3 were pulled apart. The plunger and spring were separate from the cutter portion. One I was able to push back together easily but the smallest one took a bit of fiddling with. After about 15 minutes I got it back together. I haven't used them yet and am hopeful that they will stay together. This was a surprise because I really like Ateco products.

Pros:-Three different sizes, of the same leaf-Sturdy and well made-Makes a nice cutout (I used these on pre rolled pie dough, and they worked nicely. I have to imagine if you were using them on fondant or something similar, it would stamp really nicely)Cons:-Hard to clean-Smaller than expected, but nice if you are trying to make delicate looking designs

I have several sets of Ateco sugar paste cutters and these work just as good as the others. The price from amazon was a lot better than what I've paid for the other sets I have. They also work great with fondant. Some of the cutters had come apart in the package and they seem to come apart easily when using them, didn't have that problem with the other sets.

This is a great "shape" cutter if that is what you are looking for. I used this cutter to just get the general shape of a leaf and added the details myself. The detail in the cutter only semi works. If you use this with gumpaste it does much better than pastillage or fondant (both marshmallow and regular). They are a pain to clean though - I let them soak in a bit of soapy hot water for a minute then rinsed. The plunger still works after having these for several months and using several times. I do enjoy these cutters!

These cookie plunger set works well except for the smallest one. It does not haveenough depth to cut into a lot of cookie dough and hence, is so thin that the cookie doughsticks too much to it and won't plunge out like the other two. However, the pretty design andease of use more than makes up for this.

I receive my order in 2 day :) really love it.On the picture these cutters seem same size, but in reality they are different sizes which is perfect.Super small and cute cutters ideal for decoration of small figures from fondant...it can be used in many different applications and I really like it.
