Great product
This belt is a much better, stronger replacement belt for the harbor freight 9x20 metal lathe! Lasts far longer and seems to not fray as easily! I will purchase this for as long as I own my lathe!

Not a replacement for a Gates 5M-710 for a 9X20 lathe
This belt does not match my new pulley or a new Gates 5M-710. The angle of this belt is around 53 degrees. The angle of a new Gates 5M-710 is around 70 degrees. It may be ok for some other application but not for the 9X20 lathes.

Wouldn't stay straight in pulley groove
The belt began to twist in the pulleys and fray in less the 2 hours of use.
