Q: What are the dimesions of the chest pockets? Thanks

On the long sleeve shirt , pocket dimensions on right and left side are 7" wide X 6" deep and 5" wide X 6" deep.

Q: What am I supposed to do with that swatch w/ the two holes?

That cloth is called a Badge Tab or a Sheriff's Badge Tab. Basically it is used so that you can pin a badge through the two holes, and then attach it to the shirt without damaging the shirt by poking holes in it.

Q: What is the neck size on a us chest 41-45 vs a medium large presently i have a large r and neck is like 17 inch neck where i wear 15 1/2 to 16

I ordered the XL and my neck is about 17" and my neck fits loose. I am 5'11" 210 with 43" chest and the XL is way to big. I think all their sizes run large, but I can only tell you how the XL fits.

Q: How well does shirt resist brush and thorns? Does it tear easily?

Note that this is labeled "Short Sleeve" but the photo is long sleeved. I have the long sleeved variety, and I own several of them. I absolutely love these shirts--particularly the version with the zipper closure and zip pockets. These are awesome shirts. They are very sturdy, very durable. I have not yet torn one, even going through brush and thick woods. If you're after durability, you can't go wrong with these shirts.
