Love all the Prismacolor products.

Prismacolor is by far my favorite pencil (so far) to use. Soft core allows for layering and blending plus I’ve never had a broken stick. Good value and assortments for all types of projects.

These are a great set of highlight colors and shading colored pencils 24 total so each tray in the set holds 12 of each type also colors that have highlights also match the colors that have shading ie green and a green for each. They are smooth like butter on paper.

Best color pencils at the price point. Nice layering and bright clean colors . Excellent choice for artists that sell their work .

I love Prismacolor pencils and these are no exception. However, I find the portrait set lacks basic colors that are necessary for dark skin tone. I would like a few warm grey colors, a darker cool gray, and some olive and dusty violet/plum tones. These undertones are necessary for those skin tones to look dimensional. I would suggest that they swap out a few yellows and maybe a pink or two for this set to cover more skin tones and feel complete. I couldn’t have completed this portrait without those tones (which I happened to own). They blend and layer beautifully, so I highly recommend this set. Buyers should be aware that it may not meet all of their portrait drawing needs.

Beautiful vibrant colors! I didn’t see this was a highlighting and shading set before I ordered it, and I was worried they’d be dull and lifeless. But I was pleasantly surprised! They are beautiful and fun colors. Same fantastic quality as all Berol Prismacolor sets!
