I bought 3 of these to match an existing (I thought identical) Liberty product from Home Depot. Research online lead me to believe Franklin Brass and the Liberty brand were the same product. However, the hooks on this product from Amazon are slightly smaller and less substantial than from Home Depot. I unscrewed one of these hooks and placed it on the product from Home Depot to make the photo attached to show the difference. The hook from Amazon is in the middle, the hooks on the left and right are the "Liberty" ones from Home Depot and better in my opinion. Also the white board on the Amazon version is slightly less thick and less substantial than the one from Home Depot.I've given it 1 stars for the reason that information is lacking on the dimensions of the hooks and the better Home Depot one is essentially the same price currently (just under $20). I returned them to Amazon and bought from Home Depot instead as I wanted to be sure of the most robust long lasting hooks.

I bought this basically because its mounting holes are on 16" centers so that means it can mount straight to the studs. In fact they do not include any hardware other than screws so that is really your only choice unless you want to provide your own hardware.As someone pointed out in another review, the Liberty version has larger hooks, but mounts on something around 24" centers.However the key for me is the Liberty ships with white screws that look good even when mounted. The Franklin comes with screw caps that I thought would be great. However they are off-white and really don't match the color of the wood. Its ok and I'll keep it but not what I was expecting.

I hung these the minute I grabbed them at the door. They are sturdy and well built but did not come with wall anchors , just screws and button caps to cover where screws went through to wall. But I have a ton of anchors laying around , so no big deal for me. Just wanted people to be aware and I would buy this product again. I actually bought 2 anyway.

Had to drill my own holes to match them up with my wall studs so we could hang heavy computer bags and such on here. Predrilled holes really should have standard 16" stud spacing but I would have needed to drill new ones anyway to center on my wall. Maybe include extra hole covers and recommend drill bit sizes and counterbore depth in the mounting instructions?

Love this rack! I put it up in my kitchen by myself is about 5 minutes. It's sturdy but not too heavy. It didn't come with drywall anchors, only the screws and hole covers, so I used two heavy duty anchors and screws we had around the house. Looks great and is perfect over the shoe cabinet

The only negatives are that I hang my backpack on this everyday and the hook that I use is starting to wiggle a little bit after a few months but not a concerning amount. Also the little screw covers were difficult to pop in and one of them actually wasn't in completely enough and fell back out. But other than that it's perfect!

Ours arrived with the corner smashed, so I’m nit sure they are packed well. However, we needed to paint ours so we sanded it a bit before painting and it looks great. Nice hook construction, that appear to be sturdy.

I love my entryway coat/purse racks! I ordered two and they were easy to install and hold quite a bit of weight. I should know because my kids hang their back packs and I place my super heavy purses on them daily. I highly recommend these racks.

Seems ok, does it’s job. A little heavy but not like fall off the wall heavy? Like it’ll hold quite a few coats and as long as you secured it properly it won’t fall? That probably makes no sense but it’s good quality
