Great car towel
I'm sure the Aquis hair towel is very good at its intended application. It happens also to be a very good car drying towel. I keep a solid single layer of wax on my car and wash very frequently. In Wisconsin, the prevention of built up mud and crud on your undercarriage is key to rust prevention in the winter. You have to wash constantly during the cold months to keep the salt-laden road grime from building up a corrosive layer in your car's nooks and crannies, that gets activated every time it gets wet. And you don't want to leave water droplets on your car. In winter I often wash 3 times a week, whenever the roads are dry. And if they aren't dry I wash more. My mechanic has noticed over the years how my vehicles always have far less corrosion than most of the cars he sees of similar age and mileage. I used to use 3 car towels to dry my car. This towel plus a soft silicone T-blade squeegee have made it so I can dry a car with one towel, and that towel still feels fairly dry after finishing. It absorbs everything without having a heavy chamois drag over the surface. State of the art. This towel and a California blade will dry your car fast, especially if you keep it polished and waxed.

AMAZING towel, so glad I found it
Amazing towel, so glad I purchased this. I had been using other microfiber waffle towels to dry my car's finish without scratching it. That's when I came across a guy who said he had found these towels were awesome too for drying cars. Since they were really meant for the hair, I ordered one. I have long hair and this towel gets rid of the bulk of a regular towel plus absorbs ALL water out of the hair quickly. This means your drying time will go more quickly. I merely wrap it around the hair after first wringing out most of the water. The towel stays put and in no time at all, my hair is at the damp stage and I can begin styling. This was a GREAT find, cannot say enough about it.

The Best Drying Cloth for your CAR----- Hands Down
I purchased this item 1/7/19 and I'm still using it. I don't use it for my hair but instead to dry off my CAR. Forget those expensive real chamois and synthetic ones which streak. Both require delicate maintenance and ultimately never last as long as promised. This waffle towel absorbs water better than any of them. Hands Down. Years ago I was to told to buy one but I never did. Unlike most towels you buy this one ISN'T A WASTE MONEY. It washes up nicely too and holds it's absorbency. It's been almost 2 years and it still works the same as it did-- Day One. This guy know CARS and this guy loves his Waffle Towel. Seriously ladies buy one for your guy and watch the two of you fight over who uses it. :)

Not the best design, but very absorbent.
Attaching this towel closed on your head is difficult and uncomfortable, as you have to tuck the “tail” rather than just loop it around something on the outside like other similar products. The towel is also too short to completely enclose my wet hair, which is not super long (it hits my upper back) or thick. I do like how noticeably absorbent this towel is though. I’ve found it useful when sitting still doing something and letting my hair dry naturally, but you probably couldn’t move around much with it on since the attachment style is so tenuous.

Aquis waffle hair towels are AWESOME!
I have purchased Aquis hair towels for years because they are the best. I have tried other towels but always come back to Aquis. The size, texture and absorbency are just what you need to dry your hair quickly and thoroughly. The towels wash well and are durable, so I still have some I purchased years ago - and they still do the job well. Buy this towel - you will not regret it.

The best and works for years
I purchased this from Sephora 2+ years ago and loved it (they no longer sell it). It truly absorbs much more water than a regular towel. It's soft and even though it's a much flatter weave than a bath towel, it wicks away all the water and then dries quickly. Also, I have my hair colored and the first wash after a fresh color some of the dye faintly comes off on the towel. It always washes out with regular Tide detergent. So don't be worried that buying white will end up with lots of stains. My 2+ year old towel has no stains. I purchased a different Aquis Microfiber towel that is not waffled (flat weave) and I don't like it nearly as much. It's not as absorbant and takes longer to dry. So I came back and got another of the waffle one and it's great. Also, I have thicker hair that hits the middle of my shoulder blades and I have no issues with wrapping it all up in this towel and tucking the towel end in so it makes a turban. Unless you have very long or very thick hair, this towel will work as a head wrap.

Nice towel! but high-priced (sometimes)
I was looking for a replacement for my thin "hair towels" which are now ragged with age. This works well -- thin and absorbent. As pointed out in the other reviews it's about the size of a larger hand towel, which is fine for me. However, based on the descriptions and the price, I'd hoped to have something super and amazing that would render my hair dryer all but obsolete. If you don't care what you spend, buy this towel -- but otherwise I wish I'd bought something cheaper. (I wanted to give 3.5 stars.) --I noticed just now that today's price is much lower than the over twenty dollars I paid. It won't let me change the stars, but I'd've rated it higher. Watch for sales!

Forget hair, dry your car!!!
I stumbled across this towel looking for a chamois to dry my truck. I wanted something soft and with a lot of absorbency. I wanted to cut down on the number of times I had to wring it out when drying my full-size truck. Some reviews here suggested that this thing did what I wanted for drying my cars after washing and they were right. I can't believe how much water this thing will take. I can normally dry my entire truck right after washing it and the water is very beaded up all over without wringing this towel out. This is the best drying towel I have ever used and I threw out my others and bought a 2nd one of these.
