I am very happy with this device.
Two requirements I had for a gate intercom were wired-Ethernet and Power Over Ethernet. I have had wireless doorbells where I never knew the battery was dead until my friends started asking why I never answered the door. And I have had a lot of Wi-Fi problems, even with big name access points, so I felt better with a hard-wired POE solution.I wasn't really looking for a SIP (VOIP phone) solution, but I already had a Callcentric VOIP account, so it was easy to add the device. And I can route it so that it rings on my cellphone and tablet, and my wife's cellphone and tablet, which is pretty nice.The device itself is solid as a rock. I was a little taken aback by the price at first, but all VOIP intercoms seem to be about that expensive. It has all sorts of features (in runs Linux inside), and the folks at Algo add new features from time to time via firmware upgrades, which is something I am not used to.I was a little worried about someone stealing the device, so I replaced the Phillips-head screws with Leviton 84000-T security screws (https://www.amazon.com/Leviton-84000-T-Tamper-Resistant-Spanner/dp/B003ATOP18/). That also prevents them from removing the device and hooking into my network. (This is probably more paranoia than is necessary, but I work in security, so I need to set a good example.)All in all, I really love this device.

Great device -- however it doesn't support caller ID -- I wouldn't have purchased it if I knew that, as we deployed 3 of them, and can't distinguish which gate is ringing by name. I've made the vendor aware of this, and they stated, "This is a feature that we are looking to add in the future, so I will keep you updated. We’ve found that some systems will allow this field to be displayed, while others replace it with the “name” as configured on the phone system, so it could cause potential confusion for some of our customers, but we do plan to add it as we’ve had a few requests now.".

For the price it is not worth it, after a month stop working, I do not recommend it
